As my old Snap On dealer used to always tell me... "don't think of it as $7000, think of it as $40 a week".
Thought about buying a Streamlight Stinger LED HL today off the SO truck today..I've been pricing them on the internet web sites and EBay,,, most around $140-$160.....his price was $219 plus tax... ouch!!.. Decided not to buy it as I can't justify paying that much more.
perfect example of the "snap-on price" hike that goes on for everything. it's not that they are selling extremely high quality tools all the time, they will sell anything with a huge markup if people will buy it.
just so a flame war doesn't start, yes to each his own, buy what you want, and the tools are high quality. but this is just a perfect example of the pricing everyone talks about
