So i have a few of these old jacks, made in China nothing too extraordinary here that i had some questions about. I also have a newer HF jack as my primary that has been terrific, not pictured.
But i have these two other jacks and trying to figure out what i want to do since i do want to keep 2 jacks but probably not 3.
The Sears 214.50015 i bought probably back in the early 90s and it slips badly as i try to pump it up. Won't stay up at all.
The Westward 5ML67 i just got from someone recently & is pretty massive. I pumps up nicely but slips a bit if kept up. Add more jack fluid?? Or is there a thread you can direct me to for an idea what to do?
I am amazed both are rated at 3 tons but the Westward seems like it is really well built.
So i think i am going to get rid of the Sears, but you think it should be trashed (sent to metal scrap at dump) or kept for someone to rebuild??
what would you do?
