Well the charger switched itself to 1 amp mode again. I am going to call the manufacturer and find out what is going on, seems like something is wrong.
I decided that it was time to buy my own hot water pressure washer, so I found a good used one and picked it up. Then I loaded up my 325 gallon water tank and brought it home to fill it up. You may not remember, but my shop has no running water.
On a really good note, I think I may have found someone to buy the boat with the motor. I should actually say trade, but either way it may be going away forever.
This weekend I am going to wash out the compressor tank and get it really clean, then take a final look. Seems like the consensus from most of the people I have talked to is that the tank should be fine. The manufacturer adds huge safety factors into the tanks for commercial applications and most of the failures that result in tanks exploding seem to have other issues as well. Usually there is either no pressure relief valve or a broken one. I plan on addressing all safety issues and adding some extra ones as well.

I hope I never have to see an inspector, not sure if I misled you?

Nice pictures and what a view! It must be awesome just sitting there in the hayfield/lawn enjoying the views en silence.

That's a real pity. I really hope you can buy it to keep it in the family. I wish we had a place like that, I'd probably spend weeks there haha.
Glad you got the liners in, now you can load that thing up!! Rims look good, they'll be even better once you get the right size tires but they look good as is too, WIN-WIN.![]()
Hopefully this weekend has decent weather. I will need to move a few things outside so I can clean up the inside, if it is raining I may not get to do that. I can't wait to load up the toolbox, I am still thinking that I am going to use painters tape and a sharpie to label some drawers for a while. I also think I am going to have to separate the ratchets into their own drawer. I will update with my progress as things go. Headed to bed now, it has been a long, hot, and humid week.
Thumper, the 660 will make it through the whole winter, the 500 probably not. I just like the idea of filling up when it is cheaper. Right now we are hovering around $2 a gallon. If I get the old doors out and the one new door in, I may use a lot less. These old doors are just wood and you can see through them in places.
Drives, I have not yet seen a place that sells both style tanks. I am going to use my compressor tank for a while and monitor it for rusting.
All, I have magnetic material, just forgot about it. I have been using the painters tape as it is quick, then once I know that is the label I want, I go to the magnetic, unless of course it is on plastics!
I just welded up the fork pockets on the compressor tank, I am going to quickly clean up the welds and then spray bomb the new steel with some primer. I tried to find a match to the quincy blue, but nothing has really worked. I tried ford blue, new holland blue, sail blue and they are all way too bright. Technically I didn't try the first two, but based on the caps, they are just as bad as the sail blue and I didn't want to waste $12 for nothing. I am honestly thinking that I am going to paint the entire thing and not worry about matching it. I am leaning towards something fancy, like purple metallic, then I can call the compressor "Barney".
