I like it, and they look great. Wish I had it in my garage...Rich
I don't know if it was the almost instant Ice I put on it or the 800 MG of advil, but it is not swollen, definitely black and blue under the nail and sore to the touch. I must have caught two finders, because the knuckles hurt from where I twisted quick to get them out. Oh well, got what I needed to done, going to go out for dinner, not sure where, but I am going to sleep early tonight.
I will be on the job all day tomorrow, so I may not post again until Friday. I will try and take some pictures, if it is raining I will probably only take a few. Have a good night guys.
That hurts way more than two fingers in a vise...I was thinking that would be a good idea, I should probably not go to sleep while driving either.
Padroo, I could not agree more. My Father has a shop that has an addition on it, so there is a wall up the middle of the two bays, it gives him twice as much wall space. With my current shop I am thinking modular and mobile, so everything (except the stockroom) will be on wheels or raised up so a pallet jack can grab it. I will be able to reconfigure things and clean things very easily. I wish my shop was deeper as well, if I ever get (wait, when I get to) the modifications, it will make a 45' deep bay. I think that will be much more versatile than the current setup.
Bob, Thanks for taking the time to read the thread, it certainly has been a journey. I am really looking forward to this winter, there should be much more progress. When I started this thread, I had no idea how intertwined my emotional, mental and physical states would be, I just thought I was going to change my "warehouse" back into a shop. I am glad I posted, even the mundane tasks, it has kept me motivated when I wanted to give up or give in and now I am starting to see things come together.
I have to make a quick stop at the shop to pick up some supplies and tools so I can finish up yesterday's fiasco. Hopefully I will be able to get it completed so I can bill out the job and move on. Next week I start another job, at least the new job has no middleman so I know what to expect. Hope everyone has a good day.
Thanks Lane, any chance I can see that cart you were talking about? Not that I need another project but I always love ideas. We will have to get together at some point soon. Hopefully before the white stuff sets in.
Speaking of white stuff I have to get the snow plow going. I bought some parts the other day and need to rewire the starter and dump body pump.
I remember that truck from last winterYour work truck is awesome!! Cool pics, thanks for sharing!
