I have nothing to report, the eyes really got me down, now I have to get myself back up and going again. It is amazing how easy it is to knock me down 10 pegs.
Strouty,
I know how you feel. If we were on the hoarders group I am on, which is all women, I'd give you a hug, but we're on GJ!
I've had a few instances where I was physically set back by an injury or illness or physical problem. It knocks the psychic wind out of you to realize you are so fragile. Kind of turns your world upside down. You thought you were so tough and strong and able to do anything. It does make you appreciate what abilities you do have.
Right now my eyesight is getting much worse. For someone who draws, this is the worst horror. I just looked through some good Jap binoculars, and realize how bad it is. But I can still get up in the morning and do the things that need doing.
This too shall pass.
Give yourself a minute or two, to get over the shock and dismay.
You'll soon get back in the saddle.
Sometimes I get down for the better part of a week, due to some disappointment or other. So I let myself stew until I just get disgusted with myself for wasting time.
Then it's back to it!
