I will vote for the 25% also.....see more detail over the 20%
The 25% looks pretty good to me as well. The funny part is that in tapatalk it resizes them all automatically, so some people are probably like WTF is he talking about??
I wish GJ would get an automatic resizer, then I could upload big ones and the smaller ones would be clickable to make them full size.
So many things, so little time. I will try and do a batch of photos today and post pictures of what has been done, I am also going to delete those huge mofos from the previous posts and for everyone's viewing pleasure I was thinking of adding some pictures that I found from the 2011 version of my shop, it is funny seeing things way back when. Especially when you see the same project that is unfinished years later.

I did not do much today, but the little bit I did was very satisfying. I am still working on the pictures, they are uploading to dropbox now, then I can resize them and post some updated pictures. The old photos will have to wait for now, I am trying to get home earlier than last night so I can get some sleep. I think I went to bed at 3AM, now I am a bit tired.

I love using Tapatalk. At least for me has made surfing and posting on the GJ so much easier. When I switch from an android to an iPhone they were some getting used to and I'm sure you'll learn the iPhone soon enough. My only complaint with it is the lack of back buttons on the keyboards like the android used to have.
I am all ready finding the phone easier to use, just those few motions that I used to do with the android os that are still happening by habit on the iphone.
The pictures are really kicking my ***, I expect to have dropbox until the technology changes so much that there is no need for it anymore, so I am going to invest the time and effort into using it. I just did a batch of pictures, but after waiting for everything to upload, I realized that I really only needed half the pictures. I guess this will force me to become more efficient as well. I know I can have all my pictures uploaded directly, but I need to edit the quantity down first, that way it won't become overwhelming like it has in photobucket. The biggest benefit to doing this is the search capabilities, photobucket ***** at that.

Good clear pictures fro the new phone. I'm still not understanding why any picture hosting service is necessary. I upload all my pics straight from my computer to GJ. No middle man.
But whatever works I guess.

The cabinets on top of the lista cabinets looks like a good use of space.
RM, GJ has a photo size limit, I have to either take a lesser quality picture or resize it anyways. I like the way it looks when I host them, I also hate GJ's photo viewer, I always shift my mouse and it closes on me.
Richard, I think it was the best place for them, I was going to try and make wall space, but we tried putting them up there and I liked it.

Everyone likes my burbs, I have a friend that wants to trade one for a school bus, probably not the best trade for me or him. I think I will be working on them starting in February, maybe sooner if the progress doesn't stop.
As for the pictures, I am almost thinking they should be a bit smaller, especially now that I am on my laptop.

As for the NEST thermostat, I found the setting that will make it work perfectly for my situation. There is an adjustment to the minimum freak the eff out temperature so now I can set it to as low as 35 if I wanted too. I think this is going to be nice once I get it all set up. Still need to run the wire so I have my permanent "c" (power) wire.
The setting was not in an intuitive location, so I couldn't find it the other day, basically it is designed to be a failsafe if the thermostat has no other input so your house doesn't freeze. I am actually cheating the system the way they designed it. In order for this to work, I have to turn the power off, the "away" setting will only allow 40 degrees as a low setting.

Got to drop a truck off at the auction this morning, unfortunately it is not one of mine, but it was at my shop, so I am still gaining space.....LOL.
Should be back there before lunch, so I can move the cabinets around, also have to sort a few things and actually decide where they are going. This decision making is hard, at least when it comes to MY STUFF, anyone else's stuff and it would be easy to decide. At least I am moving forward, last week seemed like a stalemate or worse.

Looking good on the yard cleanup and the shop progress! I've found that sometimes I have to place things only to have to move them again to improve flow and function. This is still happening in my garage and basement shop.

I get more hits on my store from the pinterest posts than from search results. It really is a nice thing to check while taking a dump at the end of the day. Here's my pinterest postings.
I spent about an hour looking at pictures, kept finding something else, then another neat thing. I thought I was never going to stop, but it was getting close to dark and I needed to get some things moved outside. At least I managed to pull myself away.
So I hate doing things like this, but I filled the back of the running suburban with things that were just in the way, some needed to be put away, but they were too far down the list for me to be able to do it. I think this will give me some breathing room, so I can decide what goes where. I need to put away all the stuff that came out of those cabinets that I placed on top of the storage wall. I have not put anything in those cabinets yet, I have some ideas, but I want to see how much room I have once I do a sweep of my stock room.

So the bus is a 2002 with 126k on the clock. It has the same motor as Bev but she has twice the mileage and about triple the hours on her engine, basically end of life . The bus has a higher roof line so I can walk around without hitting my head even on the sides (6 feet tall), it would make a nice skooly, but I am not interested in that. I figure I will use it for storage this year and then I want to dissect it and use all the parts that I can and sell what I don't use. I am also supposed to get another bus with no powertrain, but it has 6 good tires and another air ride suspension that I need (like a hole in my head) for a project. I want to use the roof sections to make some outbuildings that I can move with the forklift. Anyways here it is in all its yellow glory, the other bus is just being stored here for the winter (thankfully, I don't need three!).
I started today moving things around inside the conex, made some room, but mostly I cleared the aisle. I also unloaded the suburban from the other night, it is still full with the temporary stuff. I am thinking that if it is not raining tomorrow I may bring my bandsaw project out and stick it in here as well, it is on wheels so I can move it fairly easily and I have no intention of finishing it right now.

Here is where I am leaving off tonight, the shop definitely looks less cluttered and a plan is actually starting to take shape, gotta love that forward progress!

I have to sort the steel, then use my fancy banding tool to bundle it tight, then I should be able to handle it easier.

I could fill a bus.....
Use whatever spaces that you need to...for temporary.
As you sort, dispose of and organize/put away, eventually everything will have a proper place.
I like the cabinets up high. You have probably cleared a lot of floor space.

That's funny. There some good ideas on there from ppl not on the GJ. I signed up but never really was on until started seeing more shops and garages on there. Funny part was I started seeing people pinning my garage on Pinterest. Here's one I'm part of...

At first I was like WTF... That's my ****. Now I'm like whatever. I seen a YouTube video of guy making those holders and gave credit to another member of the GJ. I didn't ***** cause I'm not sure I'm the first with the idea. It could have been done first on another site somewhere. There was one pin on Pinterest of my garage and I post something to the fact like " man this garage looks familiar... oh that's right it's mine". Wether it's on google linked to GJ or on Pinterest only thing I which I could have done is take better pictures.
Why does it feel like getting up at 6:30 AM is a late start??? I am doing a couple things at the house, but headed to the shop fairly quick, hope to be there by 10 at the latest. Yesterday my new wireless headphones came in and I am really impressed with them, they have a flexible "u" band that goes around your neck and the headphones have magnets to keep them together. I put them on this morning and they are almost not noticeable, I like that, maybe I can wear them all day???

With the NEST thermostat, now I need to take a look at the difference between heating the shop when I am here and leaving it at a set temperature. I know that keeping the stuff inside warm makes a big difference, but until I see the run time numbers I won't know for sure. I do need to fix a couple ceiling leaks (that I created), I was even thinking about adding plastic as an air barrier. The insulation all ready has plastic backing, so all it would be doing is keeping leaks from developing, I know I lose a lot of my heat through the ceiling and eves, also lose a bunch through the overhead doors (they have seen better days). I will be curious to see what happens, today is cold, tonight will be cold, and tomorrow is also going to be cold (teens and lower). It should be a good test. I can see so far that I have had the heat running as much as 6.5 hours, but that does not include the second thermostat kicking in when the nest is off. I may be scared when I figure it out, but at least I will know.

I was looking at one of my old threads, one where I wanted to measure my fuel oil consumption and I found the data for my burner. After looking at my NEST info, it appears to be better than I thought, as I said before this is without the backup thermostat runtime. I am guessing it will run around 8 hours per day to keep things at 55 degrees. I know this morning I started the heat at around 7AM and it is still way low (44) so after 3 hours it has only brought the temp up 6 degrees. That is more than half the time I used for the entire day on Friday. Friday was warmer, so I need to take outside temps into consideration. I think it is time to start a spreadsheet.

I can officially say that turning the heat way down last night was a mistake. I am at about 7 hours of furnace running and the temp is only at 51. 
I am going to leave it set to 50 tonight and see how much it runs.
I spent time organizing a couple cabinets in the stock room, need some more bins, but it is shaping up nicely. I think I cleared an entire shelf and I can see things better now. This afternoon I have to block off the major ceiling leaks, at least it is only supposed to be really cold for a couple days.

I remember how slow a process this is, but at least it is a process that moves forward. I just went through my desk and cleaned up things. Then I had a hard drive issue, after troubleshooting it turned out to just be the cable, I like that better than the drive being bad. I closed up the two really big openings in the insulation, now I am all itchy, still have to work on putting away the fluids.
Do you have the output from your furnace pointing down towards the floor?
The high ceilings are killing you no doubt, but my garage is 1728 square feet with 11' ceilings. I get an 8 degree per hour temperature rise with a 90k output. It's not like I'm super insulated or anything, I even have the cheap single pane windows.

I have a diverter, it definitely kicks the air down, but it still stays up higher for sure. I really want to centrally mount the furnace then add a duct system to get the air to the sides. The ceiling fans help a lot, but my two 11 by 12 foot doors and the 12' 6" ceilings are hurting me for sure. I wonder if I should duct it to the floor, I hate to think of the dust that it could stir up, but the heat would start lower. I think this year is going to be a pay to play year, meaning I am just going to pay for the heat.
