Okay, sorry guys. I did start this out with an apology. And I'm in the business world every day, and understand stuff like, "Chief Operating Officer", etc. But recent posts have asked about the quality of tools, "....regardless of COO..." or etc. I kept trying to figure out an acronym using "China" or "Communist", etc, at the front of it, coming up with nothing. Thanks for the help.

you are correct

Nos = new old stock

IIRC = if i remember correctly

IMHO = in my honest opinion or in my horrable opinion depending on the person :lol_hitti

Thanks, Arkangel. I didn't know the IIRC one either. I'm a car collector, so I knew the NOS one. Again, I really appreciate the help.

Don't worry about this stuff, you actually seem to care if you inconvenience which shows that you are a good guy right off the bat. No one minds answering these ?'s. And if they do, well, it is very easy to hit the "back" button!

Good thread Lump; I also need a refresher on these and I always learn something. I've been thru the school of hard knocks and the GARAGE JOURNAL (GJ) provides much learning without busting my knucles.
Now for the knucle busting, I have to leave and go install a traction belt on a John Deere GT275 mower that will be a new experence.

FTD - fixing to die
DRT - dead right there
FUBAR - f***ed up beyond all recognition
RHR - round head ratchet

Just a few that came to my mind

I'm back again. Repaired mower belt and finished the yard. Belt replacement was a PITA and I only drew blood once with a slipped wrench. Don't forget Happy Mother's Day.....HMD
