I've been working on my Jeep doing replacement door latches, etc. which means I'm taking a lot of interior trim panels off lately.

I've come across a bunch of missing, bent, or stripped u-clips. I used to have a crappy assortment from HF, which somehow got lost in my last move. Looking online, the only ones I seem to find are the exact same 170-pc clip and screw assortment that HF sells. Different names, different prices, but all exactly the same kit.

I'd like something a step up from this - anyone have a good source for these hardware items? The only better assortments I've found so far are from Wurth and are about $275, which is of course impractical for me.

I am a Winzer Rep. We are similar to Wurth and Kimbalmidwest

If you go to
Www.Winzerusa.com
and get me part numbers of what you are wanting and quantity, I will shoot you pricing.

On these message boards I always sell at 10% over my cost. The reason is I have to pay 8.25% in tax, and like to help out other hobbiest.

If you need right away, shipping from Dallas will be about $14 no matter what the weight. 1/2 pound-100+ lbs still flat shipping rate usually have in 2 days

If you are not in a hurry(2-3 weeks) I would be happy to order on my weekly order and mail direct in a "if it fits it ships" box for about half of that
Let me know if I can help

It is not like you would need that many.
Thanks for all the suggestions and offers. While you're right that "I don't need that many," I've learned something over the years - if I need fasteners once, I'll probably need them again. I'm through going to a hardware store or a parts store and buying one bolt, or three screws... I try to buy things in anticipation of the next time I'll need them, and hopefully save myself a special trip next time. Doesn't always work out, but every time I get a little closer to my goal of just having what I need "in stock."

We have a True Value in my area that has all that stuff too. I do agree with buying more than you need. I also keep everything from past projects in case I need them. I have about 12 of those from other vehicles.
