Years ago when the Craftsman was blowing out the Craftsman Industrial products for cheap (thanks Garage Journal!), I picked up a couple of sets of wrenches with the 11 or 14 piece tool rolls. What I liked about them was the velcro closure (two straps with velcro) instead of the traditional tie strings. I really like that style.

Does anyone know where to find these or an equivalent? I have seen large tool rolls with Velcro the size of a yoga mat that are for a whole tool kit, but not just a smaller one for wrenches.

That's the one I remember. I picked up a couple a few years ago to make up a set of SAE and Metric sets for my cousin's kid. They seemed ok, but I can see your point for larger sets or frequent use.

You could always p/u a roll with ties, cut the ties off, and sew on a pair of extra long Velcro cable wraps. :dunno:

I know sears has those with the double set of pockets, one for smaller and the other for larger wrenches. I got mine on sale for around $5 during x-mas.

The large size from sear last I bought them had the string closures...

I have the red and black one above and it holds stubby flex heads. As their short. But the Velcro straps were to short and needed to Be extended...

Both have held up well what about buying some Velcro and modifying them?

I've been using several from Super Pouch. Made in NJ, been using them for years and no complaints. Don't know how to post a link from my phone.

Wright's wrench rolls have velcro as well

The Wright tool rolls look nice. HJE has a pretty good price on them, but they are special order (1 week leadtime). Do you have any idea of how the clear plastic holds up with use?

I sewed mine myself, used some cotton curtain fabric. It's printed on one side, plain on the other. Yes, it gets a bit dirty, but it's soft enough to wipe my hands on; I left a bit of a flap on one end for just that purpose!

Craftsman 14 Pocket Wrench Roll $10.00 (no velcro though, maybe you could add some??)
Description Item # 00934518000P Model # 81013
NOTE ---- Overall Dimensions: 27 in. W x 22.5in. H This sucker is almost 2ft tall. I don't think Craftsman makes a 2ft wrench.
