To others of the "repair before replace" mindset...

My stalwart, decades-old Craftsman 919167240 air compressor will not build pressure above 90psi. Disassembly and investigation reveals a slightly worn piston ring, while the piston head and cylinder sleeve are immaculate.

I cannot find a part number for the piston ring, and so I cannot a compatible replacement. The thing is 30mm ID, 47.5mm OD, 4mm lip, and fits within a 48mm bore cylinder sleeve. If you've replaced in the past this component in your aged but otherwise reliable air compressor, please post a link to the source you used.

Don't know if it will help, but a few years ago, I got an out of date CH compressor that needed new rings, but could only find it complete with piston.

For your model, would this help?

Edit - it appears others posted part numbers as I was typing my response.
