So last year I found this Cycle Country plow on Craigslist in Canton for $20 for my Warrior, which some of you may remember... Came with everything, but one piece for the manual lever, middle rod, and U bolts..

Last year I found U bolts for it to mount to the frame, a threaded rod for the pivot/quick release, then let it sit in my backyard.

Winter's coming so decided to mount it up and start working on it...
First is getting Winch Mounted, 2nd is blasting it, painting it, and some powdercoating..

How it looks like as is now.........

Well then my work put the 4000lb Smittybilt ATV winches on sale for $129.99...
Decided against using the manual handle, atleast right away and picked up a winch!

Now all I have to do is a make a mount for the solenoid, one for the winch plate to mount to, and then one for the fairlead to go to the DG Bumper.
I don't want to have it fully permanent, so I can ride and have fun, but if it's muddy out I would like to use it, but mainly for winter plowing.

It's sweet since it was only $130. Less then my employee price even.
Comes with the mount, fairlead, handlebar mounted controler, hand remote, hook, hook strap and wiring stuff.
They even have the 3000lb one for $100

But yeah, I know I'll get the "Warriors are only 2 wheel drive" deal. I have a wide but short drive way, so worse case I'll haul *** out and push snow once I'm out of the garage.. We'll see.

Anyone have any ideas on what to change the cutting edge to material wise? Thinking I can go to a plow place and get a universal one and cut it. This one is metal and would like a hard plastic...

I use a metal cutting edge without the plow feet on, for my driveway/sidewalk and it doesn't do any damage. My neighbour uses the feet and he always is left with a layer of snow. I've used mine for 9 years without damage. My friend has a nylon edge for his pager driveway, to prevent chipping the edges of the stones.

Good work on the mounting. It will look great painted.

Almost forgot. Mine is an eagle plow made in Isanti Minnesota, which is 5 minutes from my house. I'm very happy with it. I pressure wash it in the spring and cover it in WD-40c before I store it for the summer...no rust yet.

Studed tires or chains, and some weight on the back, or you won't be pushing anything for snow!

But good job on getting a good deal

All done and working! Made mounts for the winch, fairlead and solenoids.. All that's left is to clean the rust off the plow and paint it!
