Folks, just posted up the Bonney 1951 catalog. Some interesting stuff in there, including new socket set designations and a table that maps them to the old.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping that was am old fitting that I had found and was still using. Oh well still pretty coolFirst - Yes, it's the same Bonney. I do not know when they first produced fittings. (the link below suggests mid-20th century) Today, that (valves, actually) is their main business - they stopped producing tools, or rather, their tool-making function was purchased and repurchased, and eventually eliminated.

Sam, I have three of those in satin long pattern (1/2, 9/16. 5/8), two came from Epstein's and are still available. In satin part numbers start with 237xx. I really like the length and the feel. Here's mine. The middle one was very rusty and got hit with the belt sander a little bit. I am always looking for those to add to my collection.
Someone posted a long pattern set in the same pouch as yours, and they looked great. Did not realize the pouch was wrong.
CONTROLLED STEEL is a J.P. Danielson brand. It's controlled steel, with faces and lettering reminding me of Indestro, but the round-ended depressed panels don't. Just a mysterious number J-10-9 to go by. Any idea about that number?

Bonney made WEP Whitworth Streamlined combination wrenches. The fractional sizes marked on them correspond to nominal bolt sizes, not across flats, right?
Everything I've seen about Whitworth has been blah blah blah explanations of the threads and all I want to know is, do the across-flats measurements of Whitworth bolt heads come out to regular inch fractions, milimeters, or funky arbitrary sizes for which only dedicated Whitworth wrenches actually fit to acceptable tolerances? Do you need a Whitworth wrench to turn a Whitworth bolt?
Also liking the single offset DBE's there.
I've got 2 of those. (IIRC, 1/2" and 3/4") Trying to decide if I want to make the push to finish the set. Maybe at least up to 3/4".
Do those say Wright on the opposite side?A couple of SMALL Bonneys I found among my father's tools. He was a car/truck mechanic from the 1930's into the mid-50's.

Nuts - I will definitely be keeping an eye open for a 7/16 (2814) in CV for you - I've been on the search for Zenel. Actually have a Zenel in that size, but it is plain steel finish and has a crushed/bent spot like that extra CV in your last four pics.
I can help you with that Sam........I saw you've picked up a couple things lately that caught my eye.......Very nice, I have been slowly assembling a set of those. Well that is, I have 2 so far. Lol.

Nuts & Bonneyman:
This is dirty enough for doubt, but seems to be a CV 2816 in good shape. $5 shipping + whatever offer the seller accepts.
