Tons of interesting information there, LesserSon. Thank you. (I was still typing when you replied).

Yes, it is. I was just bringing that up in case, and the possibility that it showed up in -ZENEL- form in postwar catalogs....I belieeeve this one is from '33.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets peeved that some of these OEM's weren't more consistent about markings when setting up their dies!I’m a little miffed about the shield and letter in reverse directions.
.....
How dare they screw up our display plans 80+ years later!......

A couple of Bonney Ratchets that followed me home today on the "too cheap to leave behind" principle.
Bonney T-703K Flex Head (with Chrysler MTSC Award markings)
Usually these are preserved intact in master award sets with genuine imitation gold electroplate coating. This one is a fine example of "ridden hard and put away wet" Which is encouraging as despite the lipstick applied, this feels like a real workhorse with 78? gear teeth.
The A702K was a welcome find also. First one I've had. Love the feel.
Nice finds!
The dual see-saw pawl design is very much like the new S-K DX90 upgrade kit. By offsetting the two pawls a half tooth, it effectively doubles the count while not affecting strength at all. 36 actual teeth translate to 72 effective teeth.
When NOS they are a bit clunky, but once broken in are pretty nice. Though when they get really worn the internal pawl-to-head geometry changes and cause broken pawls.
Welcome JjKk!
For small precision springs, try gun parts places. Many firearms utilize tiny springs internally - perhaps they might have something that will work for you?
Picked up this 3/4" round head the other day! Bonney made some really top tier tools IMHO!
