I've been on vacation for a week, doing a ton of work around the house and I'm exhausted. My brain simply can't come up with an idea for a stand to place a small fridge. Size would be about 22"W x 22"D x 12"H, or perhaps as high as 20". Fridge probably weighs 40-50 pounds empty. I just want to get it up off the ground, so it's easier to use. This is a finished room, so milk crates won't cut it, though I'm warming up to the idea...

I suppose that depends on what tools/skills/materials you have available.

Make a plywood box and paint it any color you want.

Weld together angle-iron pieces to make an 'industrial' riser.

Get a couple of book cubes from IKEA

Make one out of strut and cover it with any decorative panel you want.

Make one out of 2x4's and cover it with any decorative panel you want (plywood? dry wall? recycled pallet wood, cloth, sheet metal, any material with a vinyl wrap on it, fake bricks, tile).

Use 1/4" steel rod to make a can holder (you place the new cans at the top and take the older cans out of the bottom, to restock the fridge).

Any stiff material with 4" holes in it to make a wine rack.

Buy another of the same mini fridge, keep drinks for guests in it, put your fridge on the top, with the drinks you like.

A stanley vidmar / Lista cabinet of drawers.

4 decorative planter pots with a board across the top (or simply turn them upside down and place each foot of the fridge on one pot).

Have your local firewood supplier cut a section of a very large log, exactly the correct height.

A BUNCH of legos, in any shape or height you want.

a coffee table or entertainment center (there will be more room than you need for the fridge...so do something decorative with the rest of it).

Build a wooden book case with a spot for the fridge.

Make a stand from any vintage engine, ****** or racing wheel you like.

Bolt it to an engine stand.

A small, folding table, with a table cloth on it.

stack sandbags underneath it, paint it camouflage and display your vintage military gear and guns next to it.

There are any number of adjustable-height end tables at Restoration Hardware.

build a sturdy shelf, lag the shelf to studs and set the fridge on it.

Use threaded rod or cables to suspend a shelf from the ceiling.

That's it..running out of steam...post pics of whatever you build.

Kev / Design Dude.

Here's what I built for my fridge.
I did it so I wouldn't have to bend down so far to get a beer.
You could build it to whatever height you wanted it.
I put casters on it for mobility.
If this is a nice finished room you're putting the fridge in, you could stain the wood and then a couple coats of clear poly.

Here is one I made a while back...2" x 2" x 3/16" steel with some 1-7/8" diameter mount feet to keep it level. Maybe a little over kill! but it was a fun project and it is solid as a rock and it gave me a place to park my surround sound receiver and subwoofer...I also mounted a opener on the side for easy access

Some nice work here. ^^^
How about a cheap tool chest from HF? Gives you extra room to store stuff.
Or a 24" bathroom vanity.

Like a few others, I was going to mention picking up a bottom box and kill two birds with one stone. Gain storage and a place to raise you fridge.

I repurposed an old RCA tv console. Works great and it even swivels....

Had one in a small apartment. Found a nice used bedside end table to put it on. Drawer and storage below was a plus.

I found an old metal cabinet , put in a shelf for a microwave, a pull out shelf for the coffee maker and still had room for the fridge on the bottom.

Thanks. Some good ideas. I wasn’t sure a night stand would hold 60-70 pounds (with fridge full).

I was absolutely looking for more storage, so maybe a black tool chest could work. I’ll ponder these ideas
