Hello, long time reader here, not much of a poster here, but I thought I would share my plans with you folks.
I have started this job twice before and just got busy doing other stuff and never really finished it.
The first time I was going to blue paint to my walls, that did not work out.
Then the second time my wife helped me, we installed bead board and she painted the walls for me a beige/tan color. That looked much better but my garage was still a mess with all the junk in it. I had built some really strong shelves and used them for a long time, but they are ugly and were full of junk. I ended picking up some used Conley Racks that were being thrown away and that got me off my **** and made me want to get started again and finish this time.
First job is to get everything out of my garage, I have been working on that yesterday and today, taking a lunch break now. I have most out of it now. I am going to rent a floor grinder tomorrow to smooth out the concrete to get it ready for tile. My wife and I decided to use VCT instead of epoxy, I played with a few patterns and came up with one we both like.
I am uploading some photos now, will post them soon.
