Does this panel look like it's set up right for a detached garage subpanel I am gonna us the bar that's bonded to the panel for ground

No, move the bond strap to the other side and use it as the ground bar.

I'd move that Lug to the other buss bar. Your ground wire will be smaller than your neutral.. I'd rather have more room for neutrals than grounds you can put more than one ground wire under a screw (the instructions say how many and what size). But you can't put more than one neutral in (double tap). Otherwise Yes looks OK to me. others will chime in I'm sure.

I'm Curious sberry why use the smaller bar for neutrals?

Did the panel come with a lug in a bag,the screws are missing on that bar where the lug should be,so either it was taken out or it's separate

Yeah I noticed the missing screws also the bond strap was on the panel not connected.

Sure, could move the lug, it doesn't know which is which.

In this case, no, because BOTH bars are insulated from the panelboard housing. The ground needs to be bonded to the housing.

If it were my panel, i would add a bar to each side. Makes for a cleaner install when u have a neutral and ground bar on each side...
