I'm looking for a short storage cabinet. I'm wanting it to store basic supplies and consumable in my work area in the shop. I want a basic standing cabinet. I intend to but it in a rolling base with a set of drawers I have that holds several other supplies I use regularly.
I've seen Sears' Craftsman cabinets but haven't been overly impressed with them. So I decided to check out Menards. They have a line of Masterforce garage storage options. They had a short cabinet that's the perfect size. I went to the store. However, the display is way up on a shelf where you can't actually check out the quality of it. So I bought one. I opened it and I'm not impressed. It's going back. The metal is thin and flimsy. Plus they're new "easy set-up" doesn't look like the strongest construction idea. Not worth what I paid for it

This is what I picked up. Like I said the size is great. Over 30"x30" plus 24" deep is perfect. I defiantly am looking for something that is 24" deep. The 16" cabinets just seem like they lack space.
Any suggestions for me? I've searched local places, sales, Craigslist, even Facebook market place. No luck finding any used cabinets or anything I could repurpose to use.
There is an Edsal cabinet available through Menards. It's not available in store but I can order it online and pick it up in store. It's not quite the same size, but it has a good depth. Plus it's made in USA. From what I've seen before Edsal is usually good quality. It's also cheaper.
