Suggestions on Fluid Evacuators?

I’m looking for a fluid evacuator for weekend warrior automotive maintenance. I’ve had a few cheap auto parts store models, including turkey basters, over the years, but looking for a solid upgrade that will work well and last. Don’t need professional shop quality, but shooting for a “one and done” model that won’t break the bank.

Any brands that you’ve had success with?

That’s really nice Lis. What brand is that?

Saw last night that tooltipia has the minivac 7201 on sale for $89.

I’ve got the mityvac one that hooks up to shop air, forget the mode number. The hand pump one works ok too, probably good for home use.

The HF version get some good reviews. Mityvac makes a few different sizes and models. Decide what size you want first - go from there.

Lowe's sells a halfway decent small version right on the shelf.

EZ Fluid Evacuators. I just googled it and can’t find a thing. I would imagine the quality of build made it uncompetitive price wise.

I'll go ahead and throw in a 927th recommendation for the Mityvac 7201. It's a fantastic unit at a very reasonable price. I got mine from ToolTopia when it was on sale for $89 with free shipping, which appears to be their current price:

The only issue I've had with mine is the plastic handle on the pump rod broke. Not in use; something fell on it. I've yet to contact them for a replacement, but I'm sure that won't be a problem.

Yeah, for $20 more than the HF it’s better to go for the name brand.
