Yes I can step up. Those Tekton sets sure look nicer. Can you step up to the Tekton set? They've got the nicer 30° / 60° wrenches.
The sunex would be fine though.
That's an excellent idea -- I think the other ends of those Sunex wrenches are just plain old straight open ends. The Tektons would give you a different angle at each end.Can you step up to the Tekton set? They've got the nicer 30° / 60° wrenches.

I'm pretty sure they're 15° / 90°, so yeah. That's what all the cheap angles have been forever. Snappy were the only game in town for a long time with the 30 / 60.That's an excellent idea -- I think the other ends of those Sunex wrenches are just plain old straight open ends. Made in USA, too, and available up to 32mm.
Oops, yeah, 15 degree. Basically a "normal" wrench at the other end, and we all have plenty of those already.I'm pretty sure they're 15° / 90°, so yeah...
That's what I have; they've been dependable. Can you step up to the Tekton set? They've got the nicer 30° / 60° wrenches.

Are they 30°/60° angles? If not, they aren't a good option.Capri is a solid option. Forged unlike the Tekton.

Ok ok... but are they made in the USAthey are. I use them everyday and I love them. They are also forged, unlike the Tekton that are laser cut.

Maybe old MIT era Tekton? The new USA wrenches they released are 30 / 60.I misspoke - my Tektons are 15 on the other side. Also, they're very thin...
They must have switched them up recently? Either way used the 9/16 and 1/2 today. Workable but don't hold a candle to my SO ones.
Any hydraulic wrench worth a damn is uncomfortable to use. It they are thick enough to be comfortable they are not going to fit in around hydraulic lines. Typically not much torque is applied anyways during 95 percent of their useEveryone screaming Tekton have you actually held one in your hands? I bought one just to confirm my suspicions they are as uncomfortable to hold as they look in the pictures. We'll see what I think about it after a couple uses.
I have a set of williams 15/60 angle wrenches and the fit and finish is what you would expect from a cheap wrench even though they are made in USA.

Would I have recommended them if they weren’t? Spend 5 seconds to educate yourself before embarrassing yourself. Are they 30°/60° angles? If not, they aren't a good option.
I’m all for USA but only if the product is superior to the off shore equivalent. In this case Capri trumps Tekton. Sorry.Ok ok... but are they made in the USA

You just might......I have seen plenty of recommendations on GJ that aren't in the parameters a person asks for or are completely wrong, so you could be just adding to the list.Would I have recommended them if they weren’t? Spend 5 seconds to educate yourself before embarrassing yourself.
I'm not sure when they changed. I probably got mine 5 or more years ago per this forum's advice. I had heard they started making them domestically, and checked out their webpage on it yesterday. Very nice. I also like all the set options...my SO only go up to 1"Maybe old MIT era Tekton? The new USA wrenches they released are 30 / 60.

As for embarrassing myself....what does that supposed to mean?
I have the Tekton made-in-USA angle wrenches, and find them quite comfortable.Everyone screaming Tekton have you actually held one in your hands? I have the V8's. They are 30/60. That is the only reason I own them, and I have had them for quite a few years. The new (er) Tektons are 30/ 60 . When I was shopping for them the Tekton's and Snap On's were the only 30 / 60 I could find. The V8 , Capri and every other brand were 15/60. Maybe others have changed to 30/60 but before buying I would check thoroughly as to the angle.

I have a set of V8s... love them. It's my "Caster" goto. I also have Park Tools bicycle wrenches... but they don't go "UP" to the big sizes like the V8s.I have the V8's. They are 30/60, and I have had them for quite a few years.
