Does anyone know who made these? Judging by their construction, and the markings on the cheek (sizes not antique style - "4", "5/0", but not modern style either, which usually incorporates a model number), I am guessing 1940's or early 1950's at best. But I am not familiar with the Super Duty brand (outside of modern Ford trucks). Super, Super Quality, etc was a Duro-Chrome brand, and they were fond of arcing their brand names on tools. But I have never seen "Super Duty" before.
The hickory handle (called a "Smokey") on the 2 lber was made by the Swan Handle Corp, if that helps anyone. I've never heard of them either. The 4 ozer has the illegible remains of a sticker in the same place on the handle.
