Last few weeks I been asking questions about exhaust fan for bathroom and asking about pex pipe. Only experience I have with fans is builders grade and have no experience with any kind pex. GJ members suggested Panasonic or Fantech for exhaust fans. Pex pipe suggestion was kinda all over with shady areas such as quality and type fittings. But one thing that seems everyone agreed on was where to buy. That was supplyhouse.com, which I never heard of them before till my post. Guys yall hit home run with that suggestion. I like it because I like shopping on line plus with good/fair prices. Here’s the scoring run, I place my order Tuesday afternoon at 3:40. At 6pm I received email saying I received tracking #’s as soon its process. That came Wednesday morning, then today(Thursday) at my gate were three boxes, with rest coming this afternoon. That’s three rolls of 100’ pex, plus an assortment of fittings and valves and few accessories. Plus Fantech exhaust fan kit. Thanks for suggestion GJ

I've had great experiences, overall, with SupplyHouse. I did buy a humidifier a couple weeks ago and got an open box one with a note about the relay clicking. When I called, they swapped it without an issue and sent the new one before I returned the bad one. It was disappointing that it got sent to me since they say they open them to confirm condition before shipping, but they made it right

Ordered some things from them a few weeks ago. Boxes showed up but I did not open for a week or 10 days. Apparently they left a few small items out. I called Monday and they immediately shipped the missing items. Scheduled to be here today.

Seems like a really good company.

Been using them for years - no issues, fast shipping. Almost everything is received the day after I order it. They used to be called "PEX Supply", but obviously have expanded well beyond that name.

As far as shipping service that is nothing! I order from McMaster Carr frequently. I will swear there are some times I am doing a phone order and UPS rings the door bell with my order before I hang up the phone!

Without a doubt. If we order from McMaster Carr at 9:00AM, it’s at our door by 11:00

Both are great. Unless I have to have it 'right now' and take the hour trip to Menards then I will order from either one.

Good to hear of your experience with a supplier I had not heard about.

McMaster Carr has maintained a great reputation for years, but Supply House is new to me.

I buy all my stop/riser shutoff valves and real stainless steel braided hoses from them.

These guys are the best. Any professional grade HVAC or plumbing part I've needed they have. Fast shipping and they do a good job packaging the items (I had an HVAC transformer destroyed by another supplier).

I’ll chime in too. Supply House is good to deal with. I kinda dislike how their web site is organized, but that’s maybe more me than them.

Good products, good service, good prices. Can’t beat that trifecta.

I have had good experiences with SupplyHouse for HVAC and plumbing supplies and other such stuff. But McMaster Carr takes the prize for quick delivery. I even asked the girl answering their phone how come when I order and select ground shipping I usually get the item the next day. She didn't think they have any special relationship with UPS but who knows and I don't need to know as long as it works.

As I recall propane has a very similar pressure operating profile to R-22. And it could use the same oil, seals, gaskets, expansion devices, etc.
Large factories in certain circumstances used this to advantage, piping in liquid propane to their office A/C units before then using the stuff to run their furnaces. They extracted cooling from the liquid propane evaporating for their offices and such, then piped the vaporized propane to the manufacturing section to burn in the furnaces, forges, and whatever. Double use, smart. Only thing was it was only cost efficient if the heating need was more than a million BTU's or something.

Because it's not a CFC... even though it's dangerous as hell as its highly flamable (which is why R-12 was sussed out in the first place), it won't punch a hole in the ozone layer, keeping Greta happy... so it MUST be OK, even though 100 years ago, they realized it was pretty effing dangerous....
Those ho do not remember history, are doomed to burn for it.

Bought most of my PEX fittings and PEX-A tubing from them and my Bath Fan.

NO complaints and they have live English speaking customer service support.
That is exactly what I had ordered for my 1000sq ft retirement home project

I wish Supplyhouse sold to Canada, or that we had an equivalent. The Plumbing/HVAC mafia is rampant here. Most trade retailers have policy where they wont sell to you without a license, which is BS for a lot of things and if you can find a store to sell to you, they **** you on price.

Pexhouse.com?

Not a bad looking site, Ill keep it in my favourites thx. Problem is, no free shipping until over $500 (not 100% dealbreaker) and they dont sell Uponor.

I have Uponor all thru my system. The only online places that sell Uponor up here (Marksupply for one), only sell to businesses.

Thats whats nice about Supplyhouse and what were missing. They have everything, no restrictions, free shipping. One stop shopping. There is some stuff on Amazon.ca, but nowhere near enough.

Case in point, this (******) thermostat controls my Hydronics. Ive replaced 3 of 6 so far. Amazon has it for $243 + $43 CAD shipping lol. Supplyhouse has it for $107USD, Free shipping. I have one spare I bought last time from the wholesalers (under $100 CAD before Covid) then after that, Im considering changing them out for something better.
