Thank you!Looking fantastic NTCRS.
Well done Sir.

Thank you!Looking great NTCRS!
Thx, yes it is very interesting to see how other ppl all over the world is doingThe shop looks great, and I always like seeing the way / style things are done around the world.
The picture of your dog caught my eye, though -- is that a xolo?
Thank you, yeah the porsch/veranda came out very niceThat deck and veranda look awesome! I really like the color scheme and all. The garage/shop is also a great transformation. Something about an old building like that getting repurposed really piques my interest so much more than a new construction garage. Not to discount new builds but the character and interesting spaces of an old shop really appeal to me.
Yes its a xolo, one year old this summer.
Very handsome!
I was introduced to a pair of Xoloitzcuintli dogs that an acquaintance owned a few years back, and have been really intrigued by them ever since. Really love the breed. Are they common in Sweden? My understanding is that they're pretty rare in the US.

I'm allergic to fur, but both me and my girlfriend wanted a dog, she said poodle but I refused [emoji12] And now we both are lucky that we found him instead.

Thank you, yes I'll probably not have wait for air when Im pushing the tire beeds in the futureReally nice update you are doing wonderful! Congrats on the GIANT compressor that thing is great!
Yep, and it looks even bigger in real lifeI agree, that is a man-sized compressor!
Thx, really nice to hearJust got all caught up on your thread. Man, your place looks amazing. You have done some amazing work to the garage, and the home, not to mention the Volvo's.
Im digging that you're still keeping the redblocks and making big power! I've got an old 242 GT myself.
Thank you, yeah some cleaning, colour, lights and keeping the place tidy will do more than you thinkGreat build thread!! I love how a few relatively small modifications can make such a dramatic visual impact.
Keep it up!
Im actually putting away all the tools i use and wiping and cleaning everytime i finish a "project"![]()

A Drift-Air compressor for working on the drift car.![]()
That's the hardest part!! Hahaha! I always struggle with that crucial last step.
Great to see this! Super nice workshop and house. One day i'll find such a place too
I visited Sweden a few times, always had a great time there!
Like the volvo-holset, thats a big turbo!
I daily drive a turbo swapped 240 and some more turbo swapped volvo's in the family. And some projects, from amazon to 760 t6 swap.
A nice big Köping lathe would be nice in the shop! Many good older brands to be found, i would look at TOS, Okuma too, not as common and wanted as many German brands and just as good. At least over here. My Okuma can handle 20" rims easily![]()
Common here for people in the snow to have two sets of wheels and tires, one for summer and one for winter. Road departments put out a lot of salt to keep the roads clear and it does not take long for winter driven cars to start rusting underneath. So people with expensive cars will keep a rotted out junker for use in the winter.
Just finished reading from the start. Really impressed with the speed you have done everything. Good job!
It's really funny to see what people from around the world has to say about stuff that for me looks like home (because it is) and beeing done just like I would do it myself.
I'm a Saab guy myself but do enjoy a good Volvo build. In Sweden you are either a Saab or a Volvo guy. It's something we are raised with. Guess you guys in the states see GM/Ford the same way?
Was funny to see the tire shop setup. Looks pretty similar to mine but my garage is just a big mess right now. I'm still missing the huge compressor. Did you get it from duabhuset or vertygsboden? One of them sell those drift-air ones right?
Cool place and cars! Not sure how I missed this thread before. My wife and I spent 6 weeks in Vasteras in 2011 (I was there for work) and really enjoyed it, lots of very cool old cars too. But that was in the middle of your summer, not sure I really want to go over there in winter...
TjaHi Jocke, nice name btw, we share it
Thank you for your kind wordsDo you have a thread here?
Yes I bought it from Duabhuset, 7000 kr, cheaper than most of the other stores.
Tack så mycket! Ja det är skönt att kunna planera och använda garaget lite bättre, dock så fylls det ju upp ganska fortSnyggt jobbat med allt! Vilket drömgarage alltså, skönt att få plats med allt va?
Keep it up!
Thank you Anders! Where are you located? MVHGreat looking home and shop.
Also great to see another Swede on here.
Anders
Fullt upp så att sägaTja
No, no thread. "Unfortunately" I bought a fempty garage that came with the new house almost four years ago. The pace with things seem to happen at my place would be the dullest thread ever
I try to improve the garage but there seem to always be such a mess with different projects all over the place. Cars, bikes, motorcycles, stuff broken by the kids or stuff that are beeing modified for various reasons.
Actually I bought a new compressor on blocket yesterday. Will pick it up tomorrow. I think it's from Bauhaus originally. 200l / 4hp will be perfect I think. Got it for about half of what it cost new![]()
Thank you very much for your kind wordsLove the Volvo haven you've got going! I like the surrounding lot as well.
I've had '86 and '89 240 wagons and a '90 740 Turbo wagon in the past. Now I've got a '65 122/Amazon and I wish I had a garage like yours to put it in!
Thx for the sub! Yeah exactly, what more can a man wish for?I am subscribed to this thread! Sweden, beer, Volvos!!!

Look at you moving up in the world with NEW tires! nice work as usual it is nice to see you doing well!
Could you please take a pic of the new garage door from the inside with it open? With that style is there no overhead hardware and it is all held up by the frame on the sides?
