Your project has come a long way in a short time and it looks like you are taking to the single life just fine. There was a line from a TV show that I think applies to your situation: from a single guy to his two married friends--"I'm going home to do whatever I want, how about you guys?"

That '61 Cadillac is really cool and I like the V70 of that generation a lot, one of the best looking modern wagons and that looks like a really clean one. Volvo seats are the best! I'll probably spend the next hour on eBay motors looking at first gen C70 convertibles (I had one with the HPT engine and a 5-speed manual).

Thanks for the cheers up, its in the middle of the night right now and I'm too lazy to figure out the correct english words to respond to your comments right now :p

View media item 70019Had some time over a few days ago in between all the tyres, so I did an oil change and a little bit of cleaning inside my daily.

View media item 70020Horse trailer full of tyres, cant remember exactly but I think its been two weeks since the last time

View media item 70021Did a quick fix, teared down the old doors and put up some siding. Everything is gonna get painted. I did it like this because if I change my mind sometime, this way I will be able to put in new doors.

View media item 70022More cleaning up in the lumber storage

View media item 70023Better picture

I can now easily store 16 sets of customer wheels. If I want to in the future there will be enough space for 30 sets.

Until next time

Wow... Awesome... Nice to hear some people speaking engine terminology I can understand... All round you have done some incredible work. I love your separate wood storage "shed". really helps keep the main shop clean.

Workshop and shed looks great, but have you noticed that table, outside of shed, is upsidedown, or is it swedish style :D

Hi, a small update from a long weekend free from day job:

Finished all the lightning in the wood shop, looks kind of dark in the pictures but thats just my phone messing it up:

View media item 70346
View media item 70347
View media item 70348
Also bought some exterior lights for the wood shop
View media item 70349
Here you can see the old crappy garage doors for my "Wheels n' tyres room"

Dont mind the color, all doors are gonna get painted in dark grey
View media item 70350
$120 for the garage door
View media item 70351
And I also bought this one
View media item 70352
Wich is gonna get installed there in the middle, and of course get rid of the ugly tiles
View media item 70353
And as you can see for your selves, the roofing on both building is just trash
View media item 70354
View media item 70355
So I just ordered this tin roof, probably gonna get exchanged and installed by me and some frinds this summer:
View media item 70356
And for next year Im gonna try to save enough money to order two new big doors like this for the "big room"
View media item 70357
Until next time!

Quick update

Was able to paint the small garage 2 rounds this weekend, the 3d layer have to wait until the weather gets better again. On the pic the first layer was done.

View media item 70508
I also installed the door in the shop
View media item 70509
In a while a buddy of mine will do the stucco around the door and the garage-door.

Until next time!

View media item 70684
Forgot to take a photo of the second set, might see it later cause its a friends car..

Got my roofing for both buildings
View media item 70685
Painted the garage doors in a dark grey and also installed a light

And this is something similar how it will look around the doors on the stucco building:

Thank you :) Yes its a bunch of work, but thats the way I like it. I dont want to sit in the couch watching tv all day :)

Correct, one house, one bigger garage (the old brewery) and one smaller garage (wood shop, mower, tyre hotell etc..)

Atm Im waiting for my next salary so I can start with the roof on the small garage :)

Awesome progress! I really like the roof deck, that will make a nice spot for beers and bullshitting with buddies for sure. The metal roofing really transformed the look of both buildings, I'm jealous. I also really like that gutter system, looks way nicer and higher quality than the common gutter style we have here in the US.

Thank you very much for your kind words :)

I really like the transformation aswell. Yeah the gutter system is really neat, 0.5 mm steal thats corosion treated and painted another 2 layers. First I thought about having them in the same color as the roof, then changed my mind to black, then white, and at last I saw another building with these colors and chose the silver ones instead :)

That was a lot of work! It looks good with the red steel  Great job on the roof!

Thank you :)

Holy **** Batman... That's what I would call a very successful roof transplant!!! Helps to have the right friends with the right trucks!!!

Thx, yeah its good to have the right kind of friends ;)

I dont have a lot of photos of the last side of the roof, but theres new fresh timber underneath, new tarpaper, new battens(?) and at last the tin roof. Some tin around it all left to do for the coming weekend :)

After that Im gonna tear down and move the scaffold once again so I can paint one of the black walls to white.

And now Im gonna rest and prepare my self for the upcoming "winter tyres season" and save as much money as possible so I can afford this for next year:

View media item 74153
Im thinking a carport on the side would be great for storing some stuff Im keeping inside the smaller garage, and a good space for the trailers

And Im also gonna change the last two garage doors, to this:

Anyone that might have an idea why?

I just caught up...excellent job on that roof replacement. I was amazed at the wood chips (?) in the attic, is that just construction debris from the original build or was it put there for a sort of insulation?

The metal roof is excellent, looks nice and I think very durable. I always like it at the end of a big job when I think I won't have to work on "that" again for a very long time.

I have never seen that many weights! Do you think it was the wheel or the tire itself? I would think you could see the wheel go out-of-round on a spindle. I have seen a few lumpy tires though...
