I've got a Syracuse "Champion" No. 1 set with the same ratchet. See set and pieces laid out below.
The patent is the Albrecht patent, but everything else in the set - the T-handle, the connection mechanism, the sockets, and the "silver metal" (actually zinc, copper and nickel alloy) composition - is a Charles Miller design, also located in Syracuse. Miller, an early genius who doesn't get enough credit, was the driving force behind several of his own companies (Charles Miller, Miller Combination Tool, and C.M.B.), as well as early Syracuse Wrench Co offerings. I have Charles Miller interchangeable crowfoot wrenches that I believe are the first of their kind, and his interchangeable socket sets were the first to be made in this country that weren't using the French Auto-Cle design that Mossberg made and sold.
