Hello everyone. i found this site looking at photos of beautiful garages on my pintrest board.

i recently began transforming my garage and found XcYZ's post (http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=55861) which led me here.

although the photos no longer appear on his thread i can tell i am in the right place for the info I'll be looking for.

65: the first car i drove down the street on my own when i was 12 was my dad's 63 bug so i've always had a love for them even though the heaters and engines were ****.

looks like you are not far from me so wanted to give you a welcome to the group and hope you find whatever you need. i use rubber horse mats 4x6x.75 inch thick for my garage floor, but i don't work on my cars in my garage and sometimes use as a gym. i like them cause standing at my bench all day and my back isn't so crazy sore. another option for you is tile and if you might want to see the best garage thread with tile on GJ here's one i can think of that might be of interest.

ask questions if you have any on the threads talking about the stuff you need answers to and you'll have a better chance of getting a good answer than maybe just starting a new thread as a new member. of you have an idea for a good thread start up a thread and post up plenty of pictures and information.

cheers
