Looks like Lowes is now an online distributor for Tekton.

I was on Lowes website and noticed it.the YT den of tools guy posted a vid about this topic and it had pics of tekton products in store
Nobody said it was a big deal.So does Walmart and Sears.
Why is this a big deal?![]()
Meijer discontinued Tekton maybe a year ago or so and has Stanley Tools now. It was a good place to but when they ran sales.I really don't see any benefit to me to not buy directly from Tekton. The only place I ever saw that had current inventory on the shelf was Meijer stores and that wasn't a complete lineup and without a sale it wasn't cheaper. I think Tekton keeps it that way but that's just personal conjecture.
Tekton has USA made screwdrivers and pliers and a few other things.I don't own any Tekton tools that I can think of, but isn't Tekton the brand that's now selling US made screwdrivers and US made angle wrench sets? It's always nice to see US made options being added to big box type stores, so I see the move as a good thing. Tekton also seems to be at least trying to increase their domestically produced offerings. Many other tool brands are doing the opposite.

Being that I dont like Lowes or Tekton, i could care less.
But many here do, and the pricing is competitive.
AFAIK, Walmart and Sears (do they even exist anymore?) arent stocking any product in store, but it appears Lowes might be testing the waters.

When did you buy them? They seem to be from the previous generation.I typically get my Tekton from their website just to get the points. But its awesome to see Lowes pick them up.![]()
Do that many people really buy stuff online from Lowe’s, Home Depot and such?
There’s at least three other online retailers that do a much better job at selling Tekton than. Lowe’s could ever dream about.

yes ordering online for instore pickup is great when I need something asap, especially because it means I can delegate pickupI can't speak for Tekton specifically, but in general yes. My local Home Depot does a **** ton of online orders, and has several order fulfillment employees. Covid really got the ball rolling on curb side pickup and in-store pickup for online orders. They even have a pickup locker outside the main entrance, like those Amazon lockers.
