I know Tekton isn't one of the best tool names out there but I wanted to post about their customer service. I only have a couple of there tools. My main being their retractable air hose reel. I've had the reel for maybe 4 years. When I first purchased it the hose developed a leak within a few weeks. I contacted support and in 2 days I had a new hose on my doorstep. They sent me the better heavy duty hose too. It didn't cost me a dime.
Last night I noticed that the brass air inlet on the reel had a slow leak. In the process of tightening it after new teflon tape and dope I split the fitting. It was totally my fault. I emailed support asking them how I can go about purchasing a new one as I'm sure it's well out of warranty. I recieved an email back from them this morning. They asked for my address and said they would ship one right out.
I've read where Tekton says they guarantee customer satisfaction and any dealings will be a pleasant experience. They aren't kidding. I'm very pleased with them.
I just wanted to share my experience because I think a company deserves praise when they stand up to what they say. There are too many companies out there that don't.
