Boy, that thing has a bit of a dollar store look to it. Maybe ‘cause it reminds me of a rubber mallet I got for a buck at Kresge’s in my home town when I was in high school in the early 1970s. (A mallet I still have and still use!)
That’s the feel I get from a large part of their catalog. There are some good things sprinkled in amongst the bargain bin dollar store stuff.

I have seen a SIMILAR hammer like this one at the Tractor Supply "$5 bargain table" in the front of the store…….. These hammers have been around for years and are still hanging out in someone’s bench drawer. I had one that I purchased at Channel Lumber or Rickels back in 1969 and it came in handy over the years.

I bought one of those when they were clearancing them in 2020.

They really are a piece of junk. I never use it.

The replaceable head feature is actually a detriment. The heads loosen up over time of repeated use, then you have to tighten them back down.

In for one! Great for quick use when you don't care much. If the heads loosen up, just a bit of silicone should fix that.

They've been that price for months now. Tubular steel handle to me sounds kinda weak on a hammer.

I have one or two like that I bought from HF 20+ years ago; I use them for closing paint cans LOL. They're perfectly fine for light duty work, but don't expect it to stand up to beating the **** out of a stuck brake rotor.

I try to buy from manufacturers I want to see survive. I don’t see any value in middlemen. There will always be another distributor. Estwing has one for $8 more with a hickory handle. They can really use the business.
I already have a couple of the estwing deadblow hammers and they are great. Plus framing hammer, 2 claws, 3 ball peen, chipping, drilling, and the brick hammer. I’m a big fan.

Absolutely. I've burned myself a few times thinking "oh it's made in USA it's gotta be better/top quality" and turned out it wasn't any better than a cheap import.
While I’m a sometimes disappointed when an American tool is garbage, I’m never surprised when the same is true of a Chinese sourced tool.
