Another insult. How surprising. Not particularly adult-like either, Mr Guitarbutt.

Not an insult. Anyone offended by it is guilty though.

A 1/4" would be handy, much like those tiny Titan swivel head ratchets. Very convenient for a lot of things. I want the 3/8, but I also want the $35 it takes to buy it

I could have used that tool 2 weeks ago. I was working on my truck replacing a hydraulic line with limited access. The small size would have allowed me to have a longer swing on the flare nut crowfoot at the end of a locking extension.

I had never wished for a palm ratchet before, but that would have been nice... this Tekton would have been even better.

Are there measurements of the fork i.d. or stub o.d.?

Any possibility of a mid-handle piece that could make it a double-flex?

As far as the purpose, moving the pivot higeher up makes a flex ratchet less likely to **** the socket at an angle against the fastener. More of a tactile feel than a clear problem with flex ratchets. But...

I almost bought it. But then I already have a flex stubby. And if I fold the Tekton Stubby, it might be too thick....
Still thinking about it.

Right about a year old thread. Has anyone bought or used one in the meanwhile? I have a 1/4 flex stubby, 4-3/4 from handle to mid-point of the anvil and no brand other than Taiwan stamped into the handle. No telling how old it is but its not dinged up and the rachet mechanism is still pretty firm. I think I stick with it, but the Tekton sure looks nice... if it was 1/4 then maybe.

Interesting idea, when folded up looks like a somewhat useful thumbwheel ratchet which is completely useless in my experience, having the bend might help with certain obstacles better than a regular flex head?

I would say the folding would be nice to keep in your pocket depending on the shape of your pockets and what else you keep in them (could be that a regular straight one fits better) but ratchets don’t really make much sense to carry at all unless you go into a job knowing you’ll be working on all the exact same sized bolts and also carry the one or two sockets with it which isn’t exactly a common situation
