Price went up considerably.
Considering just in material alone the 1-Drawer 40/60 Split Bank Tool Box went from +/- $261 in material to +/- $961 might have a tad bit to do with it not to mention transportation costs and increasing cost across the board.

Well have 4 of them in service in the company from Tekton. Haven't heard any complaints.

Currently we are looking at buying 12-14 more Boxes 36L x 24D x 44T directly from Rousseau for our Press Break Tooling. Need a certain Drawer Layout to facilitate Press Brake Punches and Dies.

That's barely double what my shipping quote was for 1 cabinet...
Hmmm...I guess once you get one on the truck they must only charge you for the floor space or weight???

I am glad you asked about this. When I pulled up the Order look up the shipping I noticed my man in charge of this project (who is on Vacation this week) ordered the wrong Cabinets!!! He ordered 36 in wide and they need to be 42 inch!!!!

You saved a $25000.00+ Order...on the other hand if the 36 inchers came in they would be in my Shop in a heartbeat.

Any updates on this box? How is this box working out for you guys? Every thing still holding up well. Any new pictures to share? I always enjoy seeing how people setup and configure their box and layout their drawers. I’ve been debating between the new harbor freight 72” series 3, Menards master force 72” box or the Tekton 60”x30” box. For some reason I always seem to come back to wanting to get this box someday down the road. Would really appreciate update’s on how everyone is liking this toolbox still.

In the only town in Pennsylvania, Bloomsburg.
Rousseau weighs 884lbs, very nice. Right up there with Lista/Vidmar as to quality.

"I dislike the safety feature of not being able to open more than 1 drawer at a time."

That would drive me crazy. On a Vidmar I have I took out the mechanism that keep me from opening a couple drawers at a time or stopping me from opening a drawer if another was ajar.
As far as a safety measure, if I had kids I would either leave the mechanism in place or bolt the cabinets to a wall, as is I counter weight with steel plates as described below. I am single and have no issue remembering not to tip over the cabinets; admittedly with my first couple of Vidmars I nearly tipped over a couple times.

On my Vidmars I placed 1 full length divider in the middle to stiffen very heavy laden drawers.

For added safety, I have steel rectangles, 1" thick plates (2) which I place in the bottom of some of my cabinets, 80lbs of steel to help counter balance open drawer weight.

"Larger selection of rolling cabinets than Vidmar too!"

With Vidmar/Lista you can have a combinations of hundreds of different custom setups

"I really wish they would have included three, 4-inch tall (3 inch internally) drawers instead of only two."

Those 4" height drawers are critical in a mechanic's cabinet, especially for a large set of sockets and deep sockets.

I picked up a Rousseu about 6+ months ago and love it, I have the 48 in, 11 drawer 50/50 picked up a butcher block for it. If the drawer layout works for you then go for it they are worth it vs the box trucks

You can disable the safety lock just slide the lock in the back, some videos on youtube about it.

Its easy to disable on the Tekton. Remove the drawer, remove the retaining screw that holds the safety slider mechanism, pull the mechanism out and throw it away.

Are you asking about depth or height?
