Tekton tools? cheaper than craftsman. Lifetime warranty. Dealer close by.has anybody had any luck with this brand?
I have one of their impact socket kits... no complaints so far.
Tons of hits if you search this forum; reviews of their US made 3/8 socket organizer, deep 1/2" impact sockets, discussion of US pliers, and composite ratchets, also comparisons of their roto ratchets to GW and HF

the search function does not work on my phone. It's there. I can click it. But as soon as i try to type something in the search bar it closes.![]()
It's mostly re-branded Harbor Freight stuff @ a higher price, but they do have a few more unique items such as their USA made (Wilde I believe?) pliers, and excellent customer service, as is evidenced by Dave's (Tekton support) engagement on this forum.
So, what's the best source for Tekton tools? Amazon?

I see several people recommending the impact sockets.
Are Tekton impact sockets made of cr-mo or cr-v?
The ratchets look very similar to Kobalts.

I've got those USA made slip joint pliers and they're pretty decent. The finish isn't quite as nice as my Channellocks, but I do like that there is a nut to tighten the joint. The strength of the teeth seems comparable to Channellock.
CR-V. I've got 2 years on my set and they're still going strong. As others have said, the laser engraving wears off over time, but aside from that they're great for the money.
