Very good tools. The quality is one of the best in the market. I've been using a corded drill (BOP10) for a long time and no problems at all. One friend said recently, when we were on the supply-store in the town this: This thing is expensive, but in 10 years this is my first time that I bring it outside to repair (a cord repair). The gear, rotor and everything was in perfect condition.

I dont know other opinions here, but is one of the best.

Have a Super-cut. One of the best tools I own. The "Universal" fit attachments available at big box stores don't fit and attachments that do fit are fairly expensive. I've used it on everything from installing new glass panes to hardwood and tile flooring to renovation work. It's awesome!

They also manufacture almost everything in-house, so they can oversee the quality at every level. Great stuff.

I have their original multi-master, the super cut and their ASCM18QX drill.

The drill is the best drill I ever owned. It has a 4 speed gearbox with an electronic torque setting. I can drive 3" screws easier and a heck of a lot quieter with it that I can with one of my Bosch or Makita impact drivers. Fortunately, I got a deal on the drill - they are currently $440 on Amazon and I paid $170 (I bought 2 of them at that price, one was a gift to my son)

Very high quality tools. Designed and built for professional use.

They are one of the few manufacturers who design their power tools towards the metalworking industry, rather than woodworking / building.

I can't vouch for all of their tools (not sure about cordless drills) but the majority of their tools are German made, and superbly so. I'm told that spares / repair are not problems, but as none of my Fein tools have ever given problems, I have yet to confirm that!

Pricing is surprisingly reasonable considering the quality, though I suspect it's a lot better in he U.K. or Europe than the U.S. (Always the way when things have to get shipped a long distance).

I have a Multimaster (superb tool, use it a lot, no issues), a big 16mm drill (use it only occasionally, but when I do I use it all day) and an angle grinder (best I've owned)! Love 'em all and would have no hesitation about buying more.

The 12 volt cordless tools ASCD 12-100 W4C, ABSU 12 W4C and ABSU 12 C are imported. The formerly imported 18 volt tools were replaced with german made tools. The WSG 7-115 angle grinder is imported as well as the core drills KBB30, KBB38, KBB40 and KBB60 (from the USA). The rest is made in Germany.

Very high quality along the lines of Hilti, Mafell & Festool & with a price to match. I've only had to fix one that wasn't a cord, a multimaster had an open in the field the rest of the guts looked great despite living a pretty hard life.

I have the ASCM18QX drill like "Git", paid the same as well a few years back when toolnut was deeply discounting them. Awesome unit, blows all the others ive used out of the water in terms of quality.

I also have a multimaster FMM350 and like it. Only used it a few times though for a small project.

Looking the the few reviews on Amazon, Fein management risk their reputation making the Chinky WSG 7-115.
Surely better to drop that model and then they can market all grinders as German made.

German company, German made - and according to one member on here - an excellent choice if you want to support the American job market..

Agh, you just **** at reading comprehension. I never said that at all. What a troll punk.

I own a Fein multi cut and I find it exceptionally impressive! I'd rather pay a little extra for A Fein power tool, than buy a Chinese made American company branded tool.
