Old thread but recent experience.
Got a Fein Mag Drill Model JHM USA5 that has seen little use, but I broke the plastic coolant bottle.
This is actually labeled as Jancy who Fein aquired but has a Fein manufacturers label, model # etc and was made in the USA not Germany.
Anyway, what a confusing mess. I haven't figured out the whole story but apparently it was 1st called a model KBB 60 in Germany (maybe made in Germany?) but called a JHM USA5 in the US, and made in the US or at least assembled in the US.
Couldn't find a parts diagram for it and even Fein's tech service lead me astray when they sent me the wrong version, an earlier one. When I questioned why the diagram didn't 100% mesh with my drill the tech really didn't have an answer. LOL
On a 2nd try with a different tech I got the right parts diagram. Yippee!!
More that I haven't figured out, but apparently that model went through a couple of revisons, because there is a old model doesn't look exactly like mine and newer model revison D with the parts diagram marked 2014 does. Don't know how many revisions were between the original and D.
My version was advertised in the 2018 Fein catalog and perhaps even later. I believe it sold for about $2500 back then.
To make it more confusing they later came out with a JHM USA5X and KBB 60X, not sure what was the upgrade or when these were discontinued.
Anyway, the coolant bottle is discontinued, and although all 4 versions (5 if you include the early version that doesn't look like mine) look very similar in the diagrams anyways, all have different part numbers and all 4 versions of the coolant bottles are discontinued.
Along with a lot of other replacement parts I noticed.
So I guess it is a squirt bottle until I can find a NOS on Ebay or wherever.
I don't think I have ever had such a confusing and time consuming experience attempting to buy a plastic part for a 8 year old tool.
Don't know why Fein would make so many different models or versions there of, because even they are confused about it all.
