I'm renting, and my garage has unfinished walls with exposed studs. I really want to do something to clean up the look of it like paint or drywall, but I can't do anything permanent. Is there anything I can use or do to give it a "finished" look, that I can still undo when i move? Some kind of stick on vinyl paper or canvas cloth or something? I grind, weld, woodwork, and paint so it would have to be somewhat durable and not easily combustible like wall paper. Does anyone know of anything or think of any product that may work that wouldn't be too expensive? I was also thinking of possibly sheeting the whole wall with pegboard and painting it, but I want to see if there are any other options/ideas? Plus depending on how cheap and easy any other options are, I may try and do the rafters as well.
