I found this site a month or so ago. All the work here is amazing. I have gathered so many great ideas, hopfull this report bares some of that out.

My garage is 32x62 and was built 11 years ago now. It is a two story with a 4' knee wall up stairs. Fully open.

The ground floor consists of 4 rooms. The largest room has been unfinished until now.

I started by installing 4' of plywood around the walls. Then I hired a Sheet rocker. I **** at rocking and they did it in 3 days. I can paint. The result is white and gray with black trim.

Time for some benches.

I had some left over flooring from our dining room.

Wall art.

I moved my model cabinet from the house to the garage.

I got an Eaton compressor last winter. I took this opportunity to tidy up the air system.

Regulator and moisture separator.

Oiler.

I have a few drop downs that my hose can hook to.

This pokes into one of the other rooms, I'll get to that another time.

I have a dust collector in the other room.

Tonight I tore the 'dirty room' apart for a much needed R&R. It contains a parts washer, sand blaster grinder and buffer. More on that later.
This mess took no time to create.

Looks like I need some paint... again.

Very nice digs. Congrats! Looks like you can do a lot of work (play?) in there.

Now all you need is a Trabant to round out your esoterica. Yes, I actually rode in one for an entire day.

I go Yugo slavia........

In the States the 131 was only available with a twin cam. '75-'79 1800cc. The Brava was '80-'82 in 2 liter form.

My car has an 1800 block with the Fuel injection top end from the Brava.

74 Spider ? Front bumper is mounted way out.
It's all original. '74 was a change over year. Lots of mechanical and 'safety' changes. Unfortunately those tin foil bumper won't do much for you no mater where they are mounted. They look sharp though.

Yugo Cabrio's are pretty rare. My wife bought me a brand new Yugo in '91 so I wouldn't ride my ZX10 Ninja in sub zero temps. I rode it rain, sleet, snow and ice up until then!
If you can't enjoy driving a Yugo, you're not a true car enthusast! It was a blast, and stone axe reliable, too. It teaches one to be smooth, and energy management...

You sir ****  Very nice garage. When I first seen the first pic, I was looking at the carport and thought this was another build thread.

What is the huge box on the outside, side of the garage in the first pic?

BTW...that Yugo is probably a collectors item as I imagine it is the only one left on the planet :lol_hitti

I love it a six plus car garage and you have your daily driver out under a carport. Nice pictures. Love the idea of using leftover wood flooring for your table top. I have a bunch of that left over and have been looking for ideas for it.

I actually sold the burban back in August, so the carport is empty for the winter. I do have a parts car in there.

Today I had some time to work on my 'dirty room'. It's getting a lot cleaner. :)
I did some mud repair and fixed some trim issues. I built this room a decade ago. My building skills have come along way since then. I had a fear of mud & tape back then. That's why there is so much trim to deal with. I'm glad it's a tiny room.

Here is my vacuume port through the wall.

Still need to do the base boards.

Never mind about the huge box, I didn't know the pic would blow up to a larger size. The soot shadow made it look like a huge box.

If that is the duct for your furnace, aren't you concerned it is burning dirty to put black soot on your sidewall outside?

The (long) story on the heater.... I got this used. It was in a camp that was shut down in the winter. These Empire heaters have a twin manifold set up that collects rust and carbon. The build up is perticularly bad if you don't leave the pilot on year round. The first time I used it, it belched out the **** you see on the outside. I immediately pulled the manifolds and cleaned them up. I also cleaned just above the vent so I could watch it in the future. That was a long time ago. I'll paint it eventually.

Great set up.
Can I ask, who is the manufacturer of the blower in front of your sand blaster, North American? 2400 series?

The dust collector is a Delta 50-850 made in Taiwan. I bought it about 7 years ago.

Good bit of progress today.

Built a bench to day in the small room I have been working on.

Needs some paint, but you get the idea.

Tomorrow I will enjoy the fresh snow OUTSIDE the garage.

Completion is near.

I finally got some time to paint.

Time to move in. I modified my buffer.
I got a new filter,

and removed the blower since I will hook it up to my dust collector.

I made a cover plate for the blower vent.

Back together:

I set up my grinder and a pair of sewing machine drawers that I have had for ever. Now they have a place. I put safety glasses in one drawer.

Parts washer in.

I also flipped the door around, just didn't make sense before. A few details like the headphone hanger.

I am sure I will come up with some more small jobs but I'm calling it done. Of course the door and jam needs paint......:lol_hitti

Eaton pump modification

I changed the oil in mu eaton for the second time today. I modified the drain outlet. It's just in a tough location to get a container that holds a quart under it.

Easy compression fitting work.

I also made a funnel pipe to put the oil into the crankcase.

Decided to try Amsoil this time.
