I've been fortunate to find a lot of stuff on trash days. So giving or paying it foward in a way. I've done the same over years. A great source of pride of mine is that I built my garage from this or that with a lot of second hand stuff. I didn't actually buy a lot in comparison to a lot others I've seen. I always seem to find I use for a repurposed item. I believe that's a good skill and a big hinderence too. The house isnt a issue cause wife does great job there. It my garage, attic and outside storage which I need to deal with. Every bin is full, attic has way to much **** (which is my overflow for garage), and too many ill get to that someday projects. Its all become to much and a burden.

I've used these for few years now. Its saw volt and amp draw. You can plug this to power and any tool up to 25 amp in see amp draw of a item. Its really cool to see homemade stuff from back when you had to make stuff to needed.
Thanks guys. I've used it few times. It came it handy when testing running amp draw on like compressors and saws. I once used it to figure out why neighbors breaker kept tripping. It ended up being the surge on his compressor.
Sorry, its already gone to family member. I'm sure ppl have there opinions on Ford's but imo that's one of the best small trucks out there. They are simple tough trucks. That was my second and many friends I know had them. Fords worse mistakes is one not making a full 4 door version and second doing away with the Ranger.
Thanks man. Actually the box is good shape overall. The felt is shot, front cover is missing, and the big *** hole in bottom but rest of the metal is in good shape. I don't know how the box can be good and bottom rusted out.Great find Gerard, may I be the first to offer you a "you ****" award...

The rust should be repairable (everything's repairable if you want it badly enough) and it looks good in it's new home. [emoji106]
Thanks man, yeah I gonna try to save it. The bottom is the only bad thing and really I could use it as is. Yep, its a leather handle Kennedy which does make it a older one but don't know how old. I do know the the handle and lock is about only way( that I know ) to put a date on how old a Kennedy is. Even the guys in the vintage tool box thread dont know Kennedy's dating method. The older ones had briefcase style lock vs barrel lock. Someone said something about the slides but all mine are the same so idk. Kennedy's stayed unchanged for many years and with changes being nobs, handle and lock.

Wow, pre WWII. If that the case that would be the oldest box I got. Now thinking about it my hip Craftsman portable has a leather handle and think its from same era. The handle is very similar.
