Okay Gerard, Seeing that Andy (you remember him) didn't scoff up that WOC, I'd like to make you an offer. I'm not going to send you a PM though, 'cause I want everyone here to know how this deal is going down. I'll fly down in February, rent a U-Haul, load up the WOC and drive back to Maine. I'm willing to give you $2500.00 if you leave all your tools in the boxes. I think that's a pretty fair offer as I'm buying this site unseen. Oh, I expect you will put a fresh coat of paint on all of them before I arrive. Please let me know if these terms are acceptable to you........ I'll need a little time to make arraignments for the truck and make space in my shop for them, so please respond ASAP. Thank you. Or if you'd prefer, I'll use the $2500 to buy you some nice colorful plastic totes and a new label maker.

Maybe he is just trying to get them moved out of the way of Matthew? I hope he is just messing around because I don't have time to make that trip or I would be there now to get them all and skip home a happy camper.

First off, Gerard it was real nice talking with you last night. You gave me a real good insight into your life. Now onto business. As we discussed, you will leave all your tools in the boxes and provide them all with a fresh coat of paint (this is a must)The DP will also be included in the deal. I will send you a cashiers check in the amount of $2500 and you will hold them for me until I arrive in February to pick them up. Maybe you can get Cb and Shorty to give you a hand with the painting:dunno: Thanks again, I do find it hard to believe that you are parting with the WOC, but you explained it well to me. You can rest assured that I will treat them well and appreciate all the work you've put into them. I know the other guys think this is a BS story, but they'll find out it isn't when the WOC is sitting in my shop.

Pink tool boxes. Lovely. :bounce:

Dan, if you were two days earlier, Craig could have taken the WOC to Hialeah (north of Miami) and the WOC would be delivered via air mail. :shocking:

I was really pissed last night and didn't want to say something that I'd regret so I waited until now. Are you selling me the fu^#ing boxes or not????????? I don't think Andy even exists so if you want to back out of the deal, just say so. I'll try to remain on a friendly basis with you but it may take a little while for me to cool down.

Andy I known you for how many years? Have you ever known me not to have my phone around me or not get back to you? I've been by your house twice and chatted with your wife. She hasn't told me anything your phones changing or anything of that sort. So don't come on this forum and start running your freaking mouth talking ****.

Dan you know me long enough I'm a man of my word. The deal is yours! I think he just hasn't taken his meds lately.

Congrats on the purchase Dan, it's a nice set, the drill press even nicer, I'm shocked on that one.:dunno:
I just picked up the original shop manuals for the DP from the guy I bought the press from for G, I'll mail them to you with you shirt that I've procastinated on sending you.

The best part of this deal is there'll be funds available to buy meds for a alter ego, defintley sounds like it needs them:lol_hitti.:beer:

Thanks for checking on us Nine. West coast turned out fine. Today is very breezy but believe it or not no rain. The East coast got it bad. I know it hit North of Bob.

Dan, the Matco calender is another bonus that comes with the boxes. You'll have to carry on the tradition of posting up every month.:D

I quick post for the rest of you guys. I talked to Gerard for about an hour last night. Everything has been worked out except when I'm going to go pick up the boxes. And to set the record straight, there will be no tools or the DP included in the deal. And I don't need Shorty to help out with any pink paint.:lol_hitti

So, as they say........The gig is up the truth is out.........

We'll be working out all the details of the big WOC transfer to Maine.

Thanks again Gerard. And sorry the conversation got cut short. You know how women can be.:eyecrazy:

Dan,
I would keep the date that you pick up quite, don't want any issues with Andy.
Those boxes will be a good fit in your shop.

Life after the Wall of Craftsman... Well like I posted above few days ago I build it and feel it's time to move on to other things and like someone enjoy it just as much as I did.

What are my plans for a replacement? Well... at least for this place I have some ideas and plans I'm working on but not much is going to change. Some of them actually I've done before or concept was the same might be just different items. This past July it's been 10 years I've had the 5 Stitches Garage and THINK maybe I got it to the point I want. Well maybe there has around the GJ about garages having the ability to adapt and change as needed. I can surly attest to that. I've probably change enough in this garage for about 10 GJ members for a lifetime within my 10 years. LOL

For all those that might be worried I've lost it or giving up my Garage Life? Im not just going in a different direction. Maybe it's getting older and mature thing? Nah, I'm still me and that's one thing that wont change.
