Ok, ok I got it. How about a board slightly longer than your MB is wide that you bevel both long edges. Then in its back side attach a couple long thin strips that fit into the screen threshold track. Store it in the corner standing up and when needed lay it down into and over the threshold track to allow you to ramp over the threshold while your working outside. Once the project is done and MB is back inside you pick up the board and store for next use?
I think that's the idea I'm going with. Its simple and easy. I also researched a uhaul ramp and they are 2'7". I now know anything I make needs to be 30" or under to fit that ramp.
