The place is looking great. How do you like those HF so far?

Thanks, I had the 2 already and they worked great. The other 2 and side working just as well. Only issue is find right items for the drawers. The new bench is working great and a lot more flat surface to clutter up. LOL

Gerard, have you thought about painting more things HF red? If everything you might want to re-arrange in the garage is red, moving it wouldn't stand out. Then "Honey, it has been that way for a long time" might work.

Bob, I believe his wife would noticed if he swapped identical boxes around in the same place.

If you ever want some good entertainment, show up with a 56" Lista cabinet, roll into his garage and leave for lunch while she is gone.
I'm just glad she didn't take out anything on my box:beer:

Nice work on the bench tops and the overall clean up. It's looking very organized and functional in there. You gonna put any top cover on the plywood?

Oh that day was priceless with that cabinet. 4 missed calls, 2 voicemails, and meet us in front of garage as we showed up.

Thanks. I haven’t decided just yet on a cover for the plywood. Was thinking of a rubber mat, carpet, hardboard and every other cheap *** option.

I come to a milestone once again. It’s been...... hmmmmmmmm.... a long F@CKING time since I had both cars actually in the garage..... at the same TIME. So since I haven’t touched anything in few days I straighten few things out of place and made the attempt.

First one in.

Other one

ecc1e8bd8c881ccc4fe36fd7bda351df.jpg

And same issues as had once before. I can’t open refrigerator bottom door all the way.

e2bc691b9e3b6edaf813eea0e9976b4b.jpg

It’s right on my side of garage which I expected.

fd1618174e0e1b43b1b5207a6a2ca891.jpg

Good gap between vehicles to open doors to first notch.

045d0420a00c0492b65ef07deb674de6.jpg

And nice amount of room on other side even with new tops.
ec1de1920694001f3ae2efdbe181a45d.jpg

Plenty of room to open lift gate while vehicle fully in garage.

Overall it’s exactly what I planned. How the F@CK did that happen. LOL The thought was to keep one side clean with access to my mechanics box and room for her to access fridge. I also wanted it comfortable for her to pull her car in and out without having me to do it. So right now I think I accomplished all those things. I can get tools and work on things now because all the bench tops without moving the cars and if need to work on bigger project I can just roll my truck out and work on something. The wife right now is HAPPY HAPPY.

I have thought of painting everything HF red but that wouldn’t stop her for noticing anything. Now she’s only worried when Craig and Shorty show up because usually I’m getting something. LOL

Paint? Bob you asked about painting? In G’s garage? You’ve been sniffing to much sawdust. Time to get back in the garage and clear the mind with fuel vapors. [emoji23]

It was a hard push to take it out for another trip for my birthday but we managed to get everything up and working again

We decided to take it to Ft Myers. Where they have sites on the beach. We spot 21 at Red Coconut RV.

It's about time you showed up again. For some reason the pictures in the 1st post aren't showing up for me. But the 2nd post is fine.
Anyway, I'm glad you got it finished in time for your vacation and birthday.

Well, there’s always something to be done... today I was sitting in garage looking at what should I get into today. I knew I also had some “Hey, when you get a minute” projects at my MIL so I just to drive down the street to the 5 Stitches Garage H2. How long could they take right?

I started by reprogramming the sprinklers and while doing that she asked to fix the flip down drawer in kitchen. Looked at it tightened up screws then tried it and they flew out. So out to the garage to find a slightly bigger screw and after all that still didn’t close right. I think she wore out the return springs. When Lowe’s comes to do master bedroom/ master bath remodel will have them look at it since they installed it just over a year ago.

I then go back outside to finish reprogramming the sprinklers and start to work on this table on the floor.

IMG_9321.JPG

I look around for the wood glue and realize I brought it down to my house. Jump in truck drive down block and get glue, long screws and stuff for other project. I glue up leg.

IMG_9322.JPG

I told her I’ll put wheel on it but legs aren’t strong enough for wheel so roll out the monster.

IMG_9323.jpg

After alittle work I built some support into the legs.

IMG_9327.JPG

My MIL loves having them tables around. It allows her to put stuff on it and roll it around. The other table is something my FIL made years ago and it still working but this is slight bit lower and my stable.

IMG_9324.JPG

IMG_9326.jpg

IMG_9328.JPG

Now she would was super happy with it.

Well after that I wanted to hang a ceiling fan in the garage. My FIL never wanted a ceiling fan because of fear of hitting it. It’s gets hot out there with just a small fan so being I upgraded a bunch of fans in my house I thought I would put this in her garage. It would be better than what she currently has. Well I hit a road block because the builder nailed the floor down in the attic. Sooooooo after like 30 mins crawling around trying to pull up floor I got this far.

IMG_9332.jpg

I was able to see what I’m working with at least being I was running out of time for dinner with wife and mother in law. I think I’ll put a support between where the handy box is and the existing junction box.

IMG_9333.jpg

I was looking at the table and thought I just couldn’t leave it the it was so I searched through the bins and found this.

IMG_9329.jpg

Rolled it out the front yard.

IMG_9330.jpg

And the end result.

IMG_9331.jpg

Looks a lot better.

It is a suspicious process description.

1. Found can of paint.
2. Rolled table to front yard.
3. Magic! Table is painted.

How do we know the MIL didn't do the painting without pictures?

:headscrat On second thought, only a guy would do spray painting on the lawn in the front yard so I think I'm a believer.
