First off guys, Thanks for all the complaments but I can't take all the credit for the Barage , my best friend Jeff worked just as hard or harder on this project and he deserves as much credit as i do so Thanks buddy for all your expertise I couldn't have done it without you!! So some of you guyswere asking about the tin on the walls , I have no idea on a brand name I got it from Old Monroe lumber Company in Old Monroe Mo. as far as cutting it ,we cut all the pieces at one time with a circular saw with a metal blade worked really well there is black "J" channel at the top of the tin to seperate and not leave any sharp edges for anyone to cut themseles on , as far as the floor goes I'm scared to do anything on the floor ' as far as getting the right color ,peeling , I dont want do it in the first place , so I surely don't want to do it twice and get the bad up in between so I just keep putting it off, I need a sponsor like Race deck or U coat it (ya I know two different things but like I said I'm scared)there is still more I would like to do in ther but just out of my budget, I guess I need more than just floor sponsors!! Alright I am going to load more pics so you guys can see more of my Barage and I will try to stay more active on here, I'm not much of a typer but I will try to do better keeping up. So thanks again and thanks for feeling my Barage is worthy of the cover page of Garage Journal, it truly is an honor!!!!!

I am trying to upload pictures but it keeps telling me that a security key is missing but I will keep trying!!

If you dont want to do the floor in an epoxy, then maybe a concrete stain in your color of choice might be an option?
Clean floor completely with degreaser, might have to scuff it a bit, roll on stain, walk away then come back to a nice stained red floor? Might look pretty cool with a variation of color, kinda how leather has the same tone, but darker and lighter in some spots.

Great shop! Congrats on the cover story :) I too love the door and also how you make the tracks 'disappear' at the top by painting them. As for flooring...check out this Bad Idea's floor. You need something this great in a place like that!

Thanks for the stain idea , although I haven't looked really hard, I've yet to see a stain that is just bright *** red they all look a little to brick or orangey for my taste , I've been thinking about this for a long time !!!

i am totally going to do that to my garage doors interior (both of them are insulated already)

did you have to adjust the tension spring to make it easier on the garage door?

No adjustment to the garage doors, you have no idea how thin and light the flashing is , I use a pair of special scissors to cut it with.

I've been looking for ideas for the inside of my rollups. Perfect... For the floor my vote is for B&W tiles.

First off, CONGRATS on the front page!!

Secondly, I am officially jealous.

I'd like to see this Photoshopped to black and red to see what it looks like. I can see I need to do some different work on my house garage. I'm really liking this black and red theme

If you could, could you explain how you got the aluminum into the garage door inserts. I can see tucking it in both top and bottom, but how did you get it tucked around all four sides without buckling?

From another Minitrucker (was in //RA for a couple years). Both truck and garage are an absolute work of art. Really inspiring man!

First off Kevin, the aluminum is very thin and is easy to work with, there is a place to tuck it on all 4 sides and is cut just the right size so that it will fit in with ease ,I will try and add a close up pic of the door and as far as the bar goes, it is on wheels and goes between the big door and the small door with plenty of room left to park two trucks and a car in it and still get around the for the most part, I'll try and a pic of it put away also I think I'm wanting to build a new bar maybe this summer but I don't know if I will, I never have finished this one because I wasn't sure how I wanted it and yes it needs a stripper pole added to it we think of the Barage as our night club and I;m glad you thought of it the same way. The photo shop pics are great like getting those ideas still not sure what I want to do with it yet , I need to get a black or stainless fridge with the fridge on the top and the freezer on the bottom , I hate lookin at the white fridge but I am not willing to pay full price for a new one, still looking for that "great" deal and I'm also wanting to change up the cabinet doors. I know you guys want to see more of the trucks and I will get them on here soon I promise and as far as all your other Questions go I will get them answered sooner or later !!!! Oh ya and air conditioning is high on the list over the floor!!!!
