Todays work in the shop; cutting hard maple stock for cabinet rails and stiles. The new sliding table saw made this a pleasure to do. I used the sliding table to get straight line rips and a couple of jigs to rip 2-1/16" wide stock. A couple of passes (three boards at a time) thru the planer on edge and they are exactly 2.00" wide, a couple of more passes thru the planer and they are .750 - .753 thick. I should have taken a video of the rip process. I'll have more to to do next week, may take video then.
Some of these have nice figure, seems a shame to paint them, but...
Face frame and cabinet assembly begins tomorrow!
