That happens.naaaaaaaa !
Hood latch came loose on a ruff road.
Mind you, that's all it took with the hood up for a mate to snap that pic:
(that's what happens with only 3/4" of suspension travel)
WhyI've never won a trophy for any car related thing (& I don't intend to either)
.............though I did sponsor best post '48 commercial at the Golburn Nats
................glad your's wasn't finished then![]()

must have been the serve I gave them when I heard nothing back once they got my cheque
I had to find out from a mate who won another trophy, who had actually won the one I sponsored (typical ASRF
Same reason I gave up having a trade stand at the Nationals.Funny, they didn't ask me again this yearmust have been the serve I gave them when I heard nothing back once they got my cheque

I believe similar reasons with communications have happened stalling the AAAA Street Rod Alliance and why it has fallen off the topic. I may know more on that this week.

Just another truck
Dunno what's it doing on the Hamb
(I thought the hamb was a Hot Rod forumwell........that's why I joined up
)
Shouldn't it be on a TRUCK forum![]()
I HATE that some guys say this or that project shouldn't be on the HAMB because it's not a HR....what iis a HotRod??
It's anything you modify. It's anything you want it to be. It doesn't necessarily need to be a '32 Ford does it?? That'd be pretty boring!!Sorry to jump in here - and I know you guys are having a fun conversation....but where is the DEFINITION of "HotRod" stated??I HATE that some guys say this or that project shouldn't be on the HAMB because it's not a HR....what iis a HotRod??

The HAMB is a very traditional place in the respect it's members like to see things done the old school way. Old school is the traditional type 32 or similar.
You only have to look at the two topics below to see how many are accepted or not.

This topic on the HAMB
http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=536967 got me wondering and of the the guys pushing for the traditional HAMB rules to be enforced it is the Aussies
Rod, Want to add anything ? Oh and Rod are you on the HAMB ? If so under what name as the Rocket I found is not you
Oh and my truck is considered to small by many to belong on a 'TRUCK' forum.

It all so seems that they take offense to the term rat rod over there as well.
Funny, because half the cars that were at the Austin event recently [ can not remember the name of it ] were exactly what i consider to be rat rods. Did they not accept hotfr8 over at the hamb with open arms.
Tragically hip Austinites.
he wants Unique pictures
as they have arranged to send a photographer that never turns up and have done this to me a couple of times.
so that will happen very soon.
