Bull, I get the feeling you don't intend on using these future screwdrivers as screwdrivers.![]()
Your feeling would be incorrect.
Vince, thanks for the info about the GW and those HF blue handled ones. I like the way the look of the HF pieces.

Are those thorsen screwdrivers made in china or where?
I wonder how the Matco ones are? They are cheaper than Snap On
Hey guys, I decided I am going to piece together a vintage set by hunting eBay and the like. I'm bidding on my first one now! Here it is:

Perhaps you should work out a package deal for all of that seller's items:

I thought you wanted cheap - $559 is not cheap.![]()
That was a joke, Vance. If I had $500+ burning a hole in my tattered pocket, I would not be blowing it on some lame-*** Porsche screwdriver.

Bull would have like 450 vintage ratchets coming for that kind of money, can't believe you were snagged on that one Merk.

are popular with the guys at the local Chrysler dealership. No joke.
We had a set of those around here at one time, really bad problem with the handles breaking. Never broke a tip or anything just handle problems.
Oh, really?
Any chance you could post some decent pics that really show the handles, shanks, and tips?
So far, you are the most positive review of any HF driver, so I am counting on you for the details.![]()
One thing I forgot to mention is that the writing on the handles comes off with a few wipes of a silicone soaked rag. - yet even my hf drivers get cleaned and coated with silicone.
Sorry about the delay, lost my camera at work. Here are the pics of the screwdrivers from HF;
Who would pay that money for a Porsche screwdriver![]()
I worked a lot with snap-on screwdrivers....and you know what? It's easy to find better ones....called Felo or Wiha!Don't EVER touch a Snap On screwdriver... you will find it hard to touch anything else ever again.
