I keep some of them. My Milwaukee circular saw came in a real PITA case. The saw has to be adjusted exactly a certain way, or it won't fit. Then, you get to fight with the rubbery cord to get it in place and close the lid. I swear the case is four times the size of the tool, yet there's precious little space inside. I don't know why they fall down on the case/bag design. On some tools, it's like they forgot it has a cord, so you end up sharply folding the cord where it comes out of the tool. Good way to cause a premature failure of the cord.
