Alright.... back at it last night and I started by knocking something off the "honey do" list. I installed some butcher block in the laundry room.

My wife was so excited that she offered to help get the garage ready for epoxy this weekend. I needed her help because she has already been down there and moved in this anxiety attack..

Those are all antiques that we buy and resell, and I was hoping they would be organized as they were moved....they were not. So I kept my damn yap shut and worked on cleaning up the basement a little to make room for a few things we needed to move out of the other garage.

Early in the build we received this monster of a cabinet for the laundry room. It was obvious it wasnt going to fit so Im not sure why they moved it in to the house. Its 2 feet wider and 1 foot taller than it needed to be. The builder was nice enough to leave it in my way, probably because its solid wood and weighs a ton. Its terrible but my dad wants it for his 30x40 so I need to store it for a few weeks. Getting it in the basement was going to be a task but thankfully I came up with a solution.

I measured that thing probably 15 times and I was wrong every time. Im not sure what I am going to do but I took Thursday off work to start on my floors. I am looking at possibly cutting the door frame a little.

Or I might take the door down all together. Or just tarp it outside until my dads shop is done. I like the idea of the garage finally being code so I may just leave it and move it to my parents new shop, but I really liked the idea of easily working on it at home after work. I guess I have some thinking to do.
