Its a kerosene heater from Tractor Supply. I'm sure you can get something like it locally at a Farm and Fleet I believe.

The other day I noticed my blower had what looked like a built in hook to hang it from so while my wife was having girls night with her friends I worked on putting it up. I basically just installed a drywall anchor and screw and hooked the blower on it.

I also mounted the charger. I think it came out pretty clean.

Forgot to post it but I finally tried out my new Microfiber Madness Incredimitt XL Sunday while washing the Jeep. Its huge and gets a little heavy but it really holds a lot of suds.

My hand next to it for reference.

Thanks for the info on the kerosene heater. Yup, Farm & Fleet or Tractor Supply. How objectionable is the odor when using the heater?

I don't smell anything when its running, but I have a bad sense of smell. On a side note, I work Airventure every year in Oshkosh and I went into a Farm and Fleet last year. It was awesome. I wish we had them down here.

Thanks for your reply regarding the odor. I'll check further.
Airventure is close to where I live (Sheboygan) but I have never been Road America Races in Elkhart Lake are my thing. Especially the Vintage events.

I would much rather to to vintage races, I go to The Mitty every year. I am forced to Airventure for work. I do like that area though, I could spend summers up there.

Wow thanks for taking the time to read the thread, I am honored. The white 02 is hopefully going to become a track car sooner than later. I might even have my father in law paint it up like one of the old BMW Art cars. It would be way cheaper than a real paint job. :lol_hitti

I gave the garage a good deep clean tonight and got it back to where I like it before I have friends over for the Super Bowl this weekend, and I realized that I never really broke out the camera and took "real" photos. Im a little rusty but I think they came out okay.

Great pics, great setup, and the E36 looks good w/ square LTWs. I like the steering wheel too!

Not square, but I do have a small spacer up front. Good eye though.

Looking real good!

Thank you.

Yes, once, about 14 or 15 years ago. Whenever it was when Honda launched their business jet. IIRC, I went the year they launched it or the year right after. I loved it.

Shoot me a message as it gets closer, I might be able to drop some passes fo you at will call.

I just scrolled through every page of this thread and realized you were local when I saw the pic of the jeep passing that downed tree on Tray Mtn (pg 30). Awesome job on everything, you do great work and it seems we have pretty similar taste. I can't figure out for the life of me what side of town you're on though... I'm guessing either far east near Sharpsburg or one of the older neighborhoods in the Happy Valley area? I'm on Witcher Rd

Didn't get much done this weekend as yesterday was my one year anniversary. I did spend a little time with my dad helping wire the new radio in the Wagoneer. It looks original but has am/fm and bluetooth.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

Sunday my wife and I took a short drive up to Athens to pick up some cars parts I bought...... on our anniversary...... Shes a keeper. I found some uncut door cards for the 02 and I didn't want to risk losing them.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

So now I need to pull the whole interior out of the 02 and rip out all the speakers and wires. I think the speakers are the source of most of my interior rattles and I will be happy to see them go.

Thanks. The 02 photographs much better than it looks in person.

Hi Nick! Dumb question but what is your 'Go To" website or forum for detailing? I wish my vehicles looked 1/10th as nice as yours... Thanks Robert

I mostly just watch youtube videos by Obsessed Garage, Pan the Organizer, etc etc. There are a couple of forums like Autotopia and Autogeek are okay but kinda slow.

I worked on the 02 a little this weekend, but first I had to play with my new air chuck. We started selling these at work so I got one to try out, no more shooting air tools across the room. :lol_hitti

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

Then I started on the de-speakering of my 02.

IMG_6865 by Nick Wood, on Flickr

IMG_6867 by Nick Wood, on Flickr

I had to pull the back seat to get the package tray and one of the side panels out so I yanked the front seats. The seat tracks needs some love anyway.

IMG_6868 by Nick Wood, on Flickr

IMG_6869 by Nick Wood, on Flickr

I found a lot of clumps of horse hair and thankfully no signs of mice. Haha.

IMG_6870 by Nick Wood, on Flickr

And yanked the door card and package tray.

IMG_6872 by Nick Wood, on Flickr

IMG_6873 by Nick Wood, on Flickr

And the damage to the card. Its separated from the vinyl and the holes for the clips are all ripped.

IMG_6874 by Nick Wood, on Flickr

I mixed up some T-88 and used it to fix the card in a few spots.

IMG_6875 by Nick Wood, on Flickr

While that was curing I dug through the parts from the white car and found an uncut package tray. I feel bad taking parts from it, but Im leaning toward building it into a track car so I wont need the nice stuff.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

It will cover this precision work by the previous owner. :eyeroll

IMG_6880 by Nick Wood, on Flickr

I think tonight I will work on pulling some speaker wire out and maybe pull the door cards off.

Last night, I finally got a little free time to work on the 02. I pulled the rear speaker wire out.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

Picked up some hardboard from Home Depot, I got the wrong stuff but they had already cut it down for me. Its a little thick but I can make it work. I also grabbed some vinyl from JoAnns to cover it but I didnt have the right staples.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

Im not sure if they staples are going to work but it might we worth a shot, if not Ill glue them.

I then installed my rear door card.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

My replacement wooded door cards for the front should arrive today, so I hope to work on those this weekend.

You wont regret it, they are sweet little cars.

I got a lot of work done on the 02 this weekend. I finished up the package tray.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

My wooden door cards showed up, so I put a coat of poly on them to protect them from moisture.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

While they were drying, I put the rear seat and package tray back in.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

Hofmeister stopped by to check on my work. I think he approved.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

Then I started assembling the door cards. I pulled the old cardboard off of the vinyl cards.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

Then I made a quick trip to Harbor Freight to buy all of their clamps and glued one of cards together.

That would have been a good name for my new cat as he has a kink in his tail, must have been broken at some point.

Nice work on door panels and rear deck, what do you plan to do for sounds?

I also sat down with my wife and designed some 2002 themed Koozies because I wanted one, I put them up for a pre-sale yesterday and I already have 100 orders. Haha. If anyone wants one shoot me a message. $5 shipped.

Looks similar to an older CCA decal for the 02 guys. I have been an on-off again member since 89 and back then 02 were the prevalent car at auto-x and DE events for Boston CCA.

Have you listed them on 2002faq? I'm sure they will purchase a bunch. I like the design.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

Then I gave the interior a good cleaning and gave it a good dusting with my favorite scent.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

I took it on a cruise Saturday morning and it was really annoying holding my coffee cup, so I wanted to try to put a cup holder in. I picked up these cheap cup holders from autozone and cut the top off one.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

Added some strong velcro to the cup holder and my center console. I wanted it to be removable so I could toss it in the glove box when not needed.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

And with my coffee mug.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

I took it on a test drive and it worked well, it even held up to some spirited driving. I had to stop and snap a post thunder storm golden hour shot.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

I also got started on a TV bar. This one has a super cool hidden feature I didnt know about until I started pulling it apart. I'm excited about this one.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

More tv bar pics to come this week.

Really like what you did for pressure washer hook up in the garage. Our house has 3 exterior faucets but only one anywhere near the driveway and since garage (obviously) is on a slap I can't really run any. However, I have a tub in the laundry room and my garage is just on the other side - hrmmmm. Maybe run a hot/cold into the garage for similar effect? Looks great!
