Very strange as I never got updates that this thread had been updated too! Oh the neglect!
Work is still really slow but I've managed to get a few bits and pieces done in the mean time...
I picked up some of the cheap matting from Halfords in their Christmas sale, looks much better than the old carpet I had:

Yes there's more junk in there...a full height ladder now too. I'm wondering where to mount it at the moment. On the wall feels right but it's just going to add to the visual clutter...not sure where yet.
I've started insulating the garage door too:
The permanent drain for the dehumidifier is in, or should that be out? I just need to find a permanent location for the dehumidifier itself now.
I was thinking that the darkest furthest corner away from the door would be the best place as that's where it'll be most stagnant....but most of the moisture will come in from the door. I'm a little undecided at the moment.
A little done...plenty more to go yet.
