HOLY DUPLICATE PHOTOS!
Could you please provide a few more details? Well, ok, lots of details? This appears to be a new build. I'm sure folks here on GJ will have lots of questions about the smaller details of the build. We're also going to want to know why you named it the Clockwork Garage.
Looking forward to watching yet another great build on GJ.
where are you located? you could update your profile if you want to....![]()
Jealous of the tight insulating! I could definitely go for spray-foam above my attached garage to keep some of the heat out. Did you do it yourself somehow, or did you bring in a contractor?
Keep up the good work!
Great build, awesome insulation. I'm assuming you are not heating the attic, what about ventilation up there? Not sure if it's there but I can't see it or if it is not ventilated.
I'm in NW Ontario so I can definitely appreciate the extra time and money spent for the spray insulation. We get as cold here but not nearly the wind you get in Manitoba.
Wow 4K for that spray foam? What is the R factor with it? Seems very pricey as they had an easy time doing it when the structure is open like that.
Very nice! Planning to paint it orange?
I have 4" foam in the ceiling, 2.5" in the walls....the shop is 22x28 with a 9 foot wall on top of the curbing ..... I paid just under $1.10 per foot at 1" ...very good price i thought....
it is ventilated...but i had stuffed the vents with yellow fiberglass batting to keep the upper area warm for applying the foam...We didn't want a cold draft passing over the foam as it is being applied...apparently cold can mess with the product during curing and prevent it from expanding properly.... So I stffed the vents as tightly as I could..

Are you finishing the attic? When I finish my garage I will have similar attic space and I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. Are you just going to use it for storage?
Looks like a nice build!
