Had a little surprise of my own delivered today. I pre-ordered this the minute it became available and then promptly forgot about it.

First impressions are that it's HUGE! This is not going to be something you weild one handed. That said, it's a lot less cumbersome than dragging out the electric pressure washer.

It will not replace a pressure washer for some tasks at just 550 psi but for most of my uses, it will do just fine. It comes with a tube and a filter you can use to draw water straight out of a bucket or you can attach a garden hose. I've only experimented with the turbo tip and it's pretty awesome. It also accepted a 9 ah flexvolt battery which surprised me.

Hope to see more of this kind of thing from Dewalt (transfer pump?)

Very neat. Maybe a flexvolt 1000 psi is in the pipeline. Doubt it, but it would be cool.

That's what I'm hoping. The worx 40v model does 725 psi so it's in the realm of possibility.

Been using a deep DeWalt T-Stak box as tackle storage in my kayak, but the black acted as an oven without any protection.

A plano 3700 fits perfectly standing upright inside, I've got a wooden divider to hold them upright and leave from for bulk storage

I used krylon fusion in flat white, cleaned the box with degreaser before spraying, time will tell how the paint sticks

The adapter works just like it should. Keeps great tools running and allows you to use higher amp/hr batteries too.

Looks like the 18V to 20V adapter is working for you.

Here is a little refurb project. Grabbed a lot of broken Drills and Impacts on eBay and refurbished them.

Here is a DCF885 converted to a DCF883 with a new case / stickers, new brush set, 3/8" square drive anvil and a brushed front housing. I like how this one came out.

This is a cool project. How cost effective was it to do this vs. buying a new open box unit on eBay? Thanks for sharing any info or experiences you’ve had.

I am definitely still ahead of buying new / open box DCF883. The only expensive part is the 3/8" anvil ($26). The housing / stickers / brushes are less than $20 all in.

I just picked this DeWalt Flexvolt grinder a couple days ago.
DCG418X2. I bought it because I can use 6" discs.
This is my first cordless DeWalt tool but I have been using corded DeWalt grinders for about 10 years.
I am not sure how long the battery will last so I bought this set with 2 batteries. If it works out I will probably buy another set.

I am looking forward to try it out. Usually we need to string out extension cords up to 500' or use a Honda EU2000 generator to run the corded grinders. Instead of buying 3 at once I figure I will try one and change discs or a wire wheel as needed. If I get enough run time then I will buy more.

With a 500' extension cord, you're probably running on about 20 volts anyway!

We usually run 12 gauge up about 250' and thats stretching it. There is not a lot of heavy grinding anyways. After that there are usually electricians on site that will run temporary power or we will take a generator with us.

Tiny tool purchase, but I’m excited that dewalt makes one of these. I’ve seen similar options from other brands, but many of them were missing sizes I use regularly.

Interchangeable nut driver bits. The magnet stays with the shank, and not the socket for ease of cleaning.

Have you used the flippable ones? Instead of single bits, each side is a different size and the main bit locks in the middle

My 5 Drills. Generally I keep a compact and hammer drill in the basement as well as the garage. The angle drill moves to wherever it is needed. The brushless compact on the right is my newest Dewalt tool.

One of my best purchases this year, along with a set of GP duosockets to go with it. Tests have shown it punches above it's weight (and above its advertised spec) and it has a much nore comfortable handle than the m12 stubby. Enjoy!

I bought the Milwaukee nailer, head/Nose too big for what I am doing. Hard to shoot at an angle in a hole. Sold it without firing a nail. Gonna buy the Dewalt.

Gotcha. I just wasn't sure. I bought the Dewalt 21 deg framer last week (used) to go with the 15ga Angled Nailer and 18 Ga brad nailer. I've never used/looked at the Milwaukees as it is a battery platform I don't have, and barring a revelation or a giant windfall I'll most likely stick to the Dewalt , Makita, and Craftsman platforms I have. I do have a Ryobi PEX crimper that has an adapter to use the Makita 18 volt batteries from BADAPTOR.COM but I checked and did not see a Dewalt/milwaukee adapter

DCC020IB. Needed something stronger (and more portable) than the wimpy corded mattress inflator I've been using to inflate and deflate a fairly large pool for the kids. I had the M12 inflator, but that doesn’t do high volume inflation like this one. I also like that this can run off of 20V Max batteries, 12V DC via the included adapter, as well as 120V AC. It’s also MUCH quieter than the M12 unit. One more positive for the Milwaukee is that it was very easy to sell

At very least, visit the swag site before buying elsewhere. You will need to understand the versions of the table and their compatability with the different saws on the market. For example, you cannot assume that the latest version (v4) will work with your saw. I believe v3 is what you want but even then, I recall that you specify your saw at checkout so there may even be some nuance within the versions.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I also scored the bandsaw/battery kit from HD. I actually already have the corded model mounted on a swag table (and have for years) but it's a bit of a pain to remove every time I want to use it handheld so I always vowed that if I found a great deal on the cordless version, I would pull the trigger. Trigger pulled!

Part of me wonders if we're seeing all these battery deals because they're making way for the powerstack batteries to hit the market. Of course the only ones announced yet are the small capacity versions but maybe there's more to come.

Yes, part of my getting the cordless model despite having a corded version on a swag table already is that I'll still have a handheld version if I end up selling the dewalt and getting a g9742.
