I just use the two holes on the edge of all my spool, so I've never understood the need for these clips. What am I missing?
Depending on what he meant, it could be the external things, or internal clips. I have also just used the two holes on the outside. But I have printed a ton of the internal clips, which stop the two halves from separating. I have had the AMS try and roll the spool in such a way that it unlocked the spool and then made it almost impossible to use without re-spooling onto a new roll.

As the filament ages it gets brittle... Clips ARE far superior to dropping filament shards onto the carpet... Then stepping on them barefoot.

Continued installing the enclosure kit on the Adventurer. With the camera and the enclosure kit and the printing the enclosure components, and all the faffing around to fit things up, it's probably a wash. But I saved about $100, so I'm happy. I guess I'm having fun. At least it's a learning experience. Got the riser fully on and all the filament feed tube mods completed, along with a little spigot for the filament dryer, so it can feed the printer directly.

Have you found that little attachment on the drier helpful? I have the same drier feeding one of my printers and just stuck the ptfe tube straight in. It's a little fiddly with the bushing that rhe drier came with but after inserting, it hasn't come loose on many prints and I just leave it in there. Having a quick connect would be nice, though.

Can you share a link?

The fitting. I think. Mine came as part of something else.

The little radial filament guide. If your threads and push to connect fitting are different, there are just tons of these that have been remixed for different threads.

You will need to open the hole a bit because you're changing the geometry of things. If you're going to epoxy the widget to the case, a better deal than bolts IMO, rough up both the part and the shell of the dryer, and grind down the ribs a bit. I used JBWeld clear 5 minute and turned on the dryer. Fully cured in about 20 minutes.

Kay, I have that exact drier, and I find it frequently is difficult to turn on and off, it's like the touch screen calibration is off. I have no issues with the touch screen once it is on, just getting the on/off touch to sense my touch. Do you have any issues with the touch screen? if so have you fixed it and if so how?

So did I at first. I discovered you just tap it several times. 4 or 5 over about a second usually works for me. I kind of like that it's hard to turn on. If it powered up every time I touched the screen when moving it, the damned thing would have lit the printer cabinet on fire by now.

Mine is a double tap to turn on and off.

Ok school house next shipment will be going to 6kg block sizes to order. Do we not carry colors or types you guys are looking for?

Got everything I've needed so far....Run thru 3 spools of red in the last couple days and working great! Did notice that it's the first time I've seen a non-Bambu spool picked up the RFID chip and loaded the correct color/material type into the settings on the H2.

I'll have to try that. Mine probably is too, but I'm a touch impatient.
Kay, Me too, I'll try it double tapping next time I turn it on, but like Kay said earlier, I have been tapping it several times each time I turn it on. Once it's on, the other taps seem ok. It's probably a "feature" that it takes more than one tap to turn it on :) Thanks to both you and Mike for the info!

I'm usually not a big consumer. What you sold me should last at least a couple years, if not the rest of my life. At my age, that could be the next couple years.

Destroyed my new smooth PEI sheet tonight. I was printing PLA and switched over to PCCF but forgot to swap out the plate and didn't realize until the print was basically done.

I tried freezing the plate and being gentle prying on the parts but they ended up ripping a huge chunk of the plate off with them. Ouch.

Does that material require a textured plate? Or just needs glue?

I have zero experience with this but would heating the plate up to soften the bottom help in a situation like this?

Satin sheet is recommended but you can use glue with the smooth sheet and it'll release. PC-CF prints super easy so I didn't put too much thought into swapping filaments and sending it hence the mistake lol.

Maybe, I'm not really sure to be honest. I tried releasing the print while it was still hot and it didn't want to budge so I'm leaning towards no.

I haven't even used 1 of the 12 spools I ordered a few months back, so like Kay it may be a while before I order more. What are the odds you'll get TPU or CF?

I had put a large order in with Bambu just before you started. Going to see about going with you guys next time. But... I am also switching schools/positions, so that is also now up in the air.

Is the TPU hiding somewhere on the site? When I search "TPU" I get no results, and when viewing the Collections/All page I'm not seeing it listed. Some Black TPU is just what I need...

wasnt in the first order. there is none currently

I'm into my forth spool from the twelve I ordered.

I have a bunch of stuff to print in Flashforges Burnt Titanium next...

There is a spool of Yellow TPU in a vacuum bag sitting on top of the schoolhouse stuff... Not sure of its origin.
I am super fond of the Flashforge burnt titanium, it looks amazing and prints really nice. I really like all their filament and buy it cheap off Temu, it ships from their Houston TX warehouse and I get it in about three days. Flashforge sells stuff directly on Temu and I get stuff like hot ends and filament from their store, always comes from Houston and is usually around 50% less than getting it elsewhere.
